Philip Noyes converted a pair of field goals for all the scoring Pittsford needed. For UPrep, Jaylyn Melton led the defense with eight and a half tackles, including one for loss. Senior middle linebacker Dekhari Carter followed up with eight tackles, including two and a half for loss, and a forced fumble. Junior defensive end Tyrell Simmons amassed three quarterback hurries, two and a half tackles for loss and two and a half sacks. Devon Farley and Isaiah Moonschein both posted a pair of tackles for loss and a sack. Moonschein added two quarterback hurries. Christopher Jean led the offense with 109 rushing yards on 18 carries. Pittsford advances to the sectional final to take on No. 3 seed McQuaid.

John Harding rushed for a pair of touchdowns on the first two plays of the second half as McQuaid avenged a regular season loss to Victor with a sectional semifinals win. The junior running back started the third quarter with a 21-yard tally to extend the Knights’ lead to 10-0. Then Harding took off for a 60-yard burst to the house for a commanding 17-0 advantage. Junior kicker Dominic Sansone converted a pair of field goals. McQuaid advances to the sectional final to take on No. 4 seed Pittsford.

No. 5 CHURCHVILLE-CHILI (4-6) 14
No. 1 WEBSTER SCHROEDER (10-0, No. 11 NYSSWA Class A) 35
Anthony DeRosa and Drew Pagano both recorded a pair of touchdowns as Webster Schroeder cruised past the sectional semifinals. DeRosa opened and bookended the Warriors’ scoring with a two-yard score in the opening stanza and pick-six in the third period. Pagano connected with Gavin Horton for a two-yard tally in the second quarter and a four-yard touchdown in the third. Pagano led the offense with 203 passing yards and went 19-of-24 from the pocket. Junior running back Jack Simpson chipped in a one-yard touchdown run in the second quarter as he led the rushing attack with 14 handoffs and 44 yards. Justin Maier hauled in seven balls totaling 95 yards and led the defense with five tackles. Noah Wittmer posted a pair of tackles for loss. Webster Schroeder advances to the sectional final to take on No. 2 seed Hilton.

Zymier Jackson and Kelvin Shepard connected for a trio of touchdowns as East/World Of Inquiry dominated the sectional semifinals on its home turf. The quarterback-receiver duo totaled 133 yards on the three tallies. Jackson finished with 216 passing yards on nine completions. Shepard added 40 rushing yards. Anthony Ramon Diaz caught a touchdown and threw another. The junior wideout added seven tackles, two interceptions and a pass break-up on defense as well. Senior linebacker Edwin Spencer led with 11 tackles and a pass break-up. Damon Wilson chipped in five tackles, including one for loss, and forced a fumble. East/World Of Inquiry advances to the sectional final to take on No. 2 seed Canandaigua.

Ja’Vin McFollins exploded for four touchdowns to lead Batavia’s offensive outburst in the sectional semifinals. The senior quarterback tallied three of his four scores in the second quarter as the Blue Devils blew a 14-6 contest open. McFollins dropped a pair of touchdown passes to Cole Grazioplene and Carter McFollins-Cramer for 78 and 53 yards, respectively. Then McFollins charged in a six-yard keeper right before halftime to give the Blue Devils a commanding 35-6 advantage. The senior quarterback dimed Cooper Fix for 21 yards – his third touchdown pass – midway through the third quarter. McFollins accumulated 242 yards on eight completions. Grazioplene and McFollins-Cramer accounted for 213 of those yards. Zay Griffin rushed for a pair of fourth-quarter tallies, including a 66-yard dash to cap off the game’s scoring. Griffin dominated the trenches with 141 scrimmage yards on eight touches. Aiden Anderson and Cameron McClinic combined for 216 rushing yards and a touchdown apiece. Senior linebacker Aavion Bethel guided the defense with 12 tackles. Garrett Schmidt followed up with 11, including four resulting in lost yardage. McFollins-Cramer contributed eight tackles, including one for loss, and an interception. For Livonia, Maddox Olsen and Owen Weterrings both scored a touchdown. Weterrings led with seven carries for 101 yards. Senior linebacker Alex Benitez recorded eight tackles. Batavia advances to the sectional final to take on the winner of No. 3 Honeoye Falls-Lima/No. 2 Monroe.

Cadearrell Sneed, Jr. rushed for a pair of touchdowns and two-point conversions, including the go-ahead score to lift East Rochester/Gananda past the sectional semifinals. In the final stanza, senior quarterback Brayden Dohse punched in a one-yard keeper to bring the Bombers within 21-20. Then Sneed converted two points for the go-ahead score. Sneed’s two rushing tallies gave the Bombers the lead each time as well. The sophomore running back’s first touchdown was the game’s opening score. Sneed’s two-yard tally in the second period put the Bombers in front, 14-7. The 5-foot-7 running back amassed 19 carries and totaled 61 yards. Dohse completed 12-of-16 passes for 158 yards. Miles Caviness accounted for 107 of those yards on seven receptions. Michael Daniels moved the chains with 107 rushing yards via 13 handoffs and led the defense with nine tackles, including one for loss. Senior safety Jeremy Blanchard picked off a pass. For Le Roy, Jackson Fix, Tony Piazza and Drew Strollo all rushed for a touchdown. Ryan Higgins posted eight tackles, including two for a loss and a sack. Emmanuel Fisher and Jack Tonzi both had a tackle result in negative yardage. Tonzi had six tackles while Fisher chipped in five and a sack. East Rochester/Gananda advances to the sectional final to take on No. 3 seed Attica.

Noah Currier and Bodie Hyde split six rushing touchdowns as Oakfield-Alabama/Elba continued its offensive dominance of the classification in the sectional semifinals. The duo combined for 29 carries and 327 yards. Hyde led with 174 yards on 14 direct snaps and added five tackles on defense, including one for loss. Currier followed up with 153 scrimmage yards and a pick on defense. Senior linebacker Brayden Smith led with 10 tackles, including three for loss, and a pass break-up. Angelo Penna and Connor Scott both contributed five tackles. Scott had three tackles result in negative yardage, deflected a pair of passes and recorded an interception. Penna had two tackles for loss and a sack. For York/Pavilion, Maddox Timothy accounted for the team’s lone score with a rushing touchdown in the opening stanza. Ryan Brady and Tanner Hodges both amassed 10 tackles. Oakfield-Alabama/Elba advances to the sectional final to take on No. 2 seed Alexander.

Tyler Marino and Richard Townley both recorded a pair of touchdowns as Alexander scored on offense and defense and extended its undefeated season through the sectional semifinals. Marino was the forefront with a 50-yard pick-six right before halftime and a five-yard run to paydirt at the start of the fourth quarter. Townley punched in a pair of touchdowns, including one to bookend the game’s scoring. The senior running back accumulated 110 yards on 13 touches. Kaden Lyons and Ben Merrill rounded out the tallying. Lyons put the Trojans on the board with a nine-yard gallop in the opening stanza as part of his 12-carry, 101-yard performance. Merrill followed up Townley’s first touchdown with a 35-yard scoop-and-score. Senior defensive end Mason Bump led the defense with eight tackles. Cole Dean, Lyons and Townley all followed up with seven. Dylan Pohl posted a pair of sacks. Jaden Snyder and Connor Thompson both added a sack as well. For Avon, Richard Brice connected with Christopher Thompson to give the Braves an early 7-0 edge. Wesley Farley hustled for a pick-six right out of halftime. Jake Driscoll led the defense with 10 tackles. Alexander advances to the sectional final to take on top-seeded Oakfield-Alabama/Elba.
CLASS 8-MAN

No. 1 CANISTEO-GREENWOOD (10-0, No. 1 NYSSWA Class 8-Man) 68
For Red Jacket, Micah Harshfield led with four touchdowns, including a pair of kickoff return scores. The junior quarterback scrambled for a 45-yard tally among his 72 rushing yards and connected with James Sibeto on a 43-yard score. Harshfield led the defense with 13 tackles. Sibeto hauled in a 35-yard touchdown catch from Aiden Reed. Canisteo-Greenwood advances to the sectional final to take on No. 2 seed Pembroke.
No. 3 BOLIVAR-RICHBURG (6-4) 18
No. 2 PEMBROKE (9-1, No. 5 NYSSWA Class 8-Man) 40
Tyson Totten ran amok for 270 rushing yards and five touchdowns to become Pembroke’s all-time single-season rushing leader. Jeremey Gabbey, Cayden Pfalzer and Totten both posted nine tackles on defense as well. Pfalzer picked off a pair of passes. Pembroke advances to the sectional final to take on top-seeded Canisteo-Greenwood.
