Wayne County meets Allegany County with a sectional title on the line. Red Creek and Bolivar-Richburg will face each other Saturday afternoon for the Section V Boys’ Class C2 championship. Here’s what you need to know:
No. 1 seed RED CREEK RAMS (15-3-0/Wayne County) vs No. 3 seed BOLIVAR-RICHBURG WOLVERINES (15-2-1/Allegany County Division I)
How they got here: Red Creek opened with a 3-1 win over No. 9 seed Wheatland-Chili before defeating No. 4 seed Marion, 4-1 in the semifinals. Bolivar-Richburg shut out No. 6 seed Caledonia-Mumford 4-0 and defeated No. 2 seed Byron-Bergen/Elba 4-3 in the semifinals.

History 101: Red Creek holds the most sectional titles of all Section V Boys’ soccer programs with 23. The Rams will be seeking their seventh sectional title since the turn of the century, and first since 2008. Bolivar-Richburg has won three sectional titles in the history of their boys’ soccer program, with their last being in 1987.
A 4 p.m. kickoff is scheduled for Saturday at Avon High School.
