One-third of Noah Hill’s 15 completions resulted in a touchdown as UPrep pulled away in the second half to advance past the sectional quarterfinals. The senior quarterback’s safety net was Darius Poles, who accounted for 144 of his 234 passing yards and three of his five scores. Poles finished with nine catches. Hill found Christopher Jean for a 35-yard catch-and-run touchdown as well. Jean ran amok for 140 yards and two more scores on 14 carries. Junior wideout Tyrell Simmons reeled in a touchdown among his pair of receptions totaling 24 yards. Dekhari Carter, Nazir Wynn and RaeJoughn Yeomas all compiled nine tackles to lead the defense. Wynn recorded three tackles for loss and a sack. Carter had two quarterback hurries and a forced fumble. Senior defensive lineman Devon Farley supplied five and a half tackles, including one for loss and a sack, and one quarterback pressure. Isaiah Moonschein pressured the quarterback five times. Theodric Moorehead broke up a pair of passes. UPrep advances to the sectional semifinals to take on No. 4 seed Pittsford.

Jackson Koppers found Nasir Patton for a 54-yard touchdown near the midway point of the third quarter to keep the game close at 28-21. Koppers completed 11-of-19 passes for 125 yards. Senior running back Evan Brock moved the chains with 82 yards on 14 carries. McQuaid advances to the sectional semifinals to take on No. 2 seed Victor.

Andrew Hilfiker commanded a Webster Schroeder offense which unloaded 43 first-quarter points with four touchdown passes. The junior quarterback connected with Kaleb Juliano, Justin Maier, Alexander Thomann and Torance Washington for his tallies. Overall, Hilfiker notched 150 yards on 13-of-15 from the pocket. Maier recorded the longest scoring reception at 27 yards. Along with his 18-yard counting catch, Juliano added a rushing touchdown as part of his six-carry, 47-yard contribution. Washington picked off a pair of passes on defense as well. Junior running back Jack Simpson guided the ground game with nine touches, 72 yards and a tally. Senior linebacker Dominic Mancuso housed a pick-six. Webster Schroeder advances to the sectional semifinals to take on No. 5 seed Churchville-Chili.

Tyler Martinovich supplied three touchdowns among his 10 completions as Brighton protected home field in the sectional quarterfinals. John Ahrens, Daniel Johnson and Thomas Welker were the recipients of Martinovich’s scoring throws. Johnson’s tallying catch was one of his six receptions totaling 168 yards. The senior wideout hustled for a 25-yard pick-six as the Bruins compiled four interceptions. Johnson contributed eight tackles as well, including one for loss. Andrew Mark and Kaleb Matthews both posted seven tackles. Matthews added a sack and interception of his own. Kieran Hughes and Jack Snyder both picked off a pass. Brighton advances to the sectional semifinals to take on No. 2 seed Hilton.

Chase Shepanski threw a touchdown and ran for another as Churchville-Chili shut down Spencerport’s explosive offense in the sectional quarterfinals. Trailing 6-0 after the opening stanza, the junior quarterback connected with Eric Neal for a 30-yard score right before halftime. Then Shepanski scrambled for a 58-yard insurance tally near the end of the third quarter. The 5-foot-11 quarterback finished with 160 net yards, including 102 via the trenches. Junior defensive back Ricardo Lagares led the Saints’ stingy defense with 11 1/2 tackles. Drew Donohue and Brock Osborne both picked off a pass. Osborne posted eight and a half tackles while Donohue had six. Camron Taylor had one of his four tackles result in lost yardage. Churchville-Chili advances to the sectional semifinals to take on top-seeded Webster Schroeder.

Amari Young rumbled into the end zone on three of his 13 carries as East/World Of Inquiry exploded for 40 first-half points. The senior running back accumulated 138 yards on the ground. Zymier Jackson completed 11-of-20 passes for 164 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Sophomore kicker Yusuf Abdi converted 5-of-7 extra points and a 35-yard field goal. Anthony Hampton led the stingy defense with 10 tackles. Tyrone Fisher and Edwin Spencer both forced two takeaways. Spencer accounted for a pair of fumbles along with his nine tackles. Fisher forced a fumble as well while picking off a pass and adding seven tackles. East/World Of Inquiry advances to the sectional semifinals to take on No. 5 seed Brockport.

Austin DiFiore recovered his own onside kick and punted a go-ahead, 27-yard field goal with six seconds left to lift Eastridge in the sectional quarterfinals. Junior wideout Cordell Young snared a 50-yard pass from Brennen Russo to set up DiFiore’s kick. Loyall Mouzon and Amere Rodgers combined for a 15-yard touchdown connection via a trick play to pull the Lancers within one, 48-47. Mouzon reeled in 105 yards worth of air yards plus a score on nine receptions as well. The junior wideout utilized his ball-hawking skills to pick off a pass on defense and recorded seven tackles. Rodgers racked up 96 yards on 21 carries and found paydirt once. Russo led the overall offense with 16 completions, 207 yards and a pair of tallies. Jayden Gamble was the beneficiary of Russo’s other touchdown pass and punched in a score as well. Senior running back Sherman Carson accumulated 172 yards and two touchdowns on six handoffs and added six catches totaling 69 more. The Lancers amassed 552 yards of offense. Eastridge advances to the sectional semifinals to take on No. 2 seed Canandaigua.

Ja’Vin McFollins flung three touchdown passes and Aiden Anderson scored twice via the trenches as Batavia poured in all its points in the first half. McFollins dimed Vincent Arroyo for 31 yards and Cole Grazioplene for a 63-yard bomb in the opening stanza. Then Anderson opened the flood gates with a 57-yard burst to the house 19 seconds into the second period. McFollins spiraled another scoring pass to Grazioplene again for 32 yards before Anderson capped off the offensive outburst with a 27-yard tally. McFollins racked up 136 yards on six completions. Anderson only needed six touches to amass 107 rushing yards. Garrett Schmidt led the shutout with seven tackles, including one for loss. Joseph Marranco, McFollins and Jagger Owens all recorded an interception. For Dansville/Wayland-Cohocton, Elijah Bender and Caleb Knapp both notched nine tackles. Junior running back Zaiden VanDurme-Blackmon followed up with eight tackles. Ean Gaylord chipped in three tackles plus a fumble recovery. Batavia advances to the sectional semifinals to take on No. 4 seed Livonia.

The junior quarterback connected with Patrick Donahoe, Donnell Hall, Colton Miller and Andrew Wanzenried for scores. Ben Cook, Donahoe and Brian Finn all rushed for a touchdown as well. Honeoye Falls-Lima advances to the sectional semifinals to take on the winner of No. 7 Geneva/No. 2 Monroe.

Livonia utilized a ground-and-pound style offense, resulting in 344 yards via the trenches and six touchdowns scored by a trio of tailbacks. Owen Weterrings guided the running corps. with 103 yards and three tallies. Kyle Weterrings followed in Owen’s footsteps by gaining 97 yards and punching in two of his 12 carries. Jack Kearney led the trio with 14 carries and summed 94 yards and a score. TJ Gause and Owen Weterrings led the defense with five tackles each. Gause recorded a sack as well. Jackson Cook and Kyle Weterrings both recovered a fumble. Weterrings forced a fumble as well. Livonia advances to the sectional semifinals to take on top-seeded Batavia.

Tony Piazza led a rush-heavy attack with 108 yards and two touchdowns as Le Roy grinded out a sectional quarterfinals win. The junior fullback’s second score extended the Oatkan Knights’ advantage to 28-14. Jackson Fix impacted both sides of the ball with a go-ahead, three-yard touchdown and an interception which set up Piazza’s second tally. The junior running back amassed 132 yards via the trenches. Drew Strollo chipped in a touchdown as part of his 51-yard performance. Connor Hegemon led the defense with nine tackles while Bryce Lathan blocked a field goal attempt. For Haverling, Justin Yehl tossed a pair of touchdown passes and a two-point conversion. Zachary Musso and Ethan Narby were the beneficiaries of the senior quarterback’s scoring spirals. Narby added six tackles on defense as well, including one for loss. William Clarke dominated the line of scrimmage with 107 rushing yards and a tally on 20 carries. The senior running back recovered a fumble on defense as well. Gavin Price and Cameron Seager combined for 22 tackles and an interception. Brock Brazie chipped in five tackles, including one for loss. Le Roy advances to the sectional semifinals to take on No. 4 seed East Rochester/Gananda.

Penn Yan/Dundee scored on both sides of the ball to cruise past the sectional quarterfinals. Carter Earl and Nick Slavick both led with three touchdowns and connected for a pair through the air. Slavick accounted for 73 of Earl’s 113 passing yards and added 55 more on the ground which included a tally. Earl scrambled into the end zone as well among his five direct snaps totaling 24 yards. Junior wideout Jaxson Enos utilized his speed to rush for an 86-yard score. The Mustangs’ defense forced six turnovers via four fumbles and two interceptions. Mason Czymmek, Caden Dixon, Anthony Sciallo and Bryant Van Housen all recovered a fumble. Van Housen returned his fumble for a touchdown. Sciallo posted eight tackles, including half a sack. Czymmek followed up with six tackles and blocked a punt. Anthony Druker and Wyatt Walters both picked off a pass and combined for five takedowns. Junior defensive back Reed Bouchard recorded a team-high nine tackles, including half a sack. Freshman defensive back Eli Raplee contributed seven tackles. Penn Yan/Dundee advances to the sectional semifinals to take on No. 3 seed Attica.

For Letchworth/Warsaw/Perry, junior running back Bailey Schell punched in a one-yard carry for a 7-6 edge near the end of the first quarter. Senior kicker Emmitt Stores nailed a 37-yard field goal late in the third period. Christopher Shearing scrambled for 71 yards on 12 direct snaps. Noah Leitten helped the defense keep the contest within striking distance with 10 and a half tackles. Logan Diver had one of his five tackles result in lost yardage. DeQuarius Johnson-Myers and Carson Petrie both chipped in half a tackle for loss. Attica advances to the sectional semifinals to take on No. 2 seed Penn Yan/Dundee.

Cadearrell Sneed, Jr. stepped up with three rushing touchdowns in the second half to blow the game open for East Rochester/Gananda. The sophomore running back housed the ball on bursts of six, 12 and 39 yards, respectively. The six and 12-yard tallies occurred in the third stanza. Sneed, Jr. accumulated 117 trench yards on 10 handoffs. Senior quarterback Brayden Dohse ignited the offense early with touchdown passes to Miles Caviness and Manuel Sepulveda. Sepulveda’s scoring grab broke the Section V all-time receptions record as he finished with five catches for 65 yards. The senior wideout now has 118 career catches. Dohse summed seven completions totaling 109 yards. Defensively, Luis Quinones had all three of his tackles result in negative yardage. Britton Delmadoros and Samuel Morgante both followed up with two tackles for loss. Delmadoros recorded a team-high four tackles overall. East Rochester/Gananda advances to the sectional semifinals to take on top-seeded Le Roy.

Trenton Woods displayed his arm strength with three of his five completions resulting in touchdowns as Alexander scored all its points on its first five possessions. The junior quarterback spread the wealth by pinpointing Christian Kissel, Kaden Lyons and Ben Merrill for scores. Kissel recorded the longest scoring reception at 25 yards. Overall, Woods totaled 120 yards on 10 attempts. Tyler Marino and Richard Townley rounded out the scoring with a rush touchdown apiece. Marino scrambled into the end zone from 16 yards out while Townley punched the ball in from three. Lyons led the Trojans’ fifth shutout of the season with nine tackles. Townley followed up with eight tackles while Mason Bump contributed six. Cole Dean and Kingston Woods both recovered a fumble. Alexander advances to the sectional semifinals to take on No. 3 seed Avon.

Richard Brice split four scores between the air and ground to lead Avon to a home win in the sectional quarterfinals. The senior quarterback dealt the bulk of his damage in the first half with three touchdowns, including both of his passing tallies. Remy Greenwood and Christopher Thompson were the beneficiaries of Brice’s touchdown passes of 41 and 40 yards, respectively. Brice punched in a one-yard keeper midway through the opening period and punctuated his performance with a nine-yard score late in the final stanza. The 5-foot-11 quarterback totaled 260 net yards, including 177 through the air on nine completions. Thompson accounted for 112 of Brice’s yards via six receptions. Sophomore defensive lineman Travis Hollada posted a team-high six and a half tackles. Thompson utilized his wideout skills to pick off a pass on defense along with four tackles, including half for a loss. Nolan Clar amassed two and a half tackles for loss among his four and a half takedowns. Avon advances to the sectional semifinals to take on No. 2 seed Alexander.

Kadin Peete and Maddox Timothy both posted a pair of touchdowns as York/Pavilion posted a season-high scoring output and emerged victorious in the sectional quarterfinals. Timothy led with 223 total yards, including 182 via the air and a pair of scoring passes. Peete recorded a 72-yard receiving touchdown and 58-yard punt return tally. The senior running back galloped for 133 yards on 16 carries as well. Maverick Coffey led the defense with 10 tackles. Ryan Brady, Tanner Hodge and Brennan Royce all followed up with seven. Royce added a sack and forced fumble. York/Pavilion advances to the sectional semifinals to take on the winner of No. 8 Geneseo/Mount Morris/No. 1 Oakfield-Alabama/Elba.

Senior quarterback Cayden Pfalzer made his impact on defense with a pair of picks while Jacob Dulski housed a pick-six. Octavius Martin and Jacob von Kramer both led the Dragons in tackles. Junior running back Sean Pustulka stepped in as kicker and converted 7-of-7 extra points. Pembroke advances to the sectional semifinals to take on No. 3 seed Bolivar-Richburg.
