Devon Rashid and Thomas Kwon scored a goal apiece as No. 4 Sutherland secured a spot in the 2022 Section V Class A semifinals. Rashid snapped a scoreless tie when he received a pass inside the 18-yard box along the right side and went far side netting for a 1-nil lead with 18 minutes remaining in the first half. Julian Montagliano scored two goals to lead Greece Athena. Montagliano opened the scoring with an assist from Aaron Walker in the 17th minute, and the senior scored off a Nick Baxter assist in the 44th minute to put the Trojans up 3-0. James Borrelli scored the game’s second goal in the 38th minute with an assist from Landon Ambeau. Aiden Ambeau converted a penalty kick in the 72nd minute. The Trojans advanced to the Class A semifinals to face the No. 4 Pittsford Sutherland on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
CLASS D1
No. 6 ARKPORT-CANASERAGA (9-6-4) 1
No. 2 HAC (15-2-0) 2
Sean Thody’s golden-goal 1:06 into the first overtime period clinched a spot in the Class D1 championship game for HAC. Thody assisted on Finn Costello’s goal in the 71st minute, and Alessandro Bosa assisted on the game-winning tally. Thomas Riveros made three saves in the win. The Wolves will play the No. 1 Fillmore in the Class D1 championship on Friday at 7:30 p.m.

No. 1 FILLMORE (18-0-0) 3
Mitchell Ward had back-to-back goals in the final four minutes of play to guide Fillmore to the championship round. Ward scored off assists by Layton Sanasith and Henry Sardina in the 76th and 77th minutes, and Eben Schilke broke the scoreless tie in the 74th minute off an assist by Zach Sisson. The Eagles advanced to the Class D1 championship to face No. 2 HAC on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
CLASS D2
No. 3 NORTHSTAR (6-9-2) 1
No. 2 HOUGHTON (12-5-1) 2
Pedro Rebello scored in the second half to lead Houghton to the Class D2 championship game. Brian Patipewe broke the scoreless tie in the first half, and Lucas Matias assisted on both goals. For Northstar, Lorenzo Danesi had a second-half goal, and Justin Robinson had an assist. The Panthers advanced to the Class D2 championship to play No.1 Mount Morris on Friday at 5 p.m.

No. 1 MOUNT MORRIS (12-6-0) 5
Jack Lonsberry had a goal and three assists to lead Mount Morris to the Class D2 championship. Lonsberry assisted on Payton Bownds’ opening tally in the 16th minute, and converting on a penalty kick in the 39th minute to give the Blue Devils a 3-nil advantage heading into the second half. The senior assisted on goals by Navier Ford and Ben Bacon in the second half, and fellow senior, Ford converted on a penalty kick in the first half. The Blue Devils advanced to the Class D2 championship to face No. 2 Houghton on Friday at 5 p.m.
