Josiah Lane ran for five touchdowns and 230 yards on nine carries to lead Gates Chili. Jon Vance threw for 83 yards and two scores, completing 2-of-2 passes. Jeremy Tantalo had both receiving touchdowns. On defense, Marlon Salmon had two interceptions and returned one of them for a 63-yard score. For Greece Olympia/Odyssey, Amari Colon rushed for 126 yards on three attempts and caught a pass for a 15-yard score. On defense, Nicholas Callaghan made 11 tackles and recovered a fumble.

Noah Hill completed 4-of-6 for 70 yards and two touchdowns, and added a 26-yard score on the ground to help UPrep remain undefeated. Tyrell Simmons had two receiving touchdowns, accounting for 34 yards, and Theodric Morehead had a 47-yard reception and reached the end zone. Chris Jean ran the ball six times for 57 yards and a touchdown. Juelz Russel returned a kickoff for a 59-yard score, and he went 5-for-5 on extra point attempts and kicked a 28-yard field goal. Defensively, the Griffins allowed a net of zero total yards.

Ricky Townley ran for three touchdowns, and Mason Bump ran for two more scores to lead Alexander. Townly reached the end zone from three and 15 yards out in a 35-point first half. Bump had a 2-yard score and a 30-yard catch and run on a 4th-and-7. Benny Merrill made four receptions for 86 yards. Dominic Kwiatek blocked a punt, and fellow linebacker, Kaden Lyons returned it to the end zone. Lyons added another score on the ground off a 20-yard run. Trenton Woods completed 7-of-12 passes for 142 yards. On defense, Christian Kissell, Tyler Marino and Jake Brooks each had an interception, and Lyons and Woods led the Trojans with six tackles each. Dalton Selapak was perfect on extra point attempts.

It was homecoming Saturday at Ranger Stadium, and current students as well as alumni of Spencerport High School filled the stands. Which didn’t sit all that well with the visiting Hilton Cadets. Homecoming is supposed to be a celebratory gathering, a chance for the home team to do a little strutting. Hilton was not amused at its assignment as opponent for the traditional game. Sam Gotham rushed for 130 yards and three touchdowns while Brady Robinson completed 21 passes as the Victor Blue Devils (4-1) rolled to their fourth straight win. Gotham capped an 83-yard drive early in the second quarter with his first touchdown on the day to give Victor, what proved to be, all the offense it needed. READ MORE.

Zymeir Jackson threw for 309 yards and four touchdowns, and completed 17-of-26 passes as East/WOIS remained unbeaten. Erwin Wiggins caught six balls for 115 yards and two scores, and Kevin Shepard made three receptions for 89 yards and two touchdowns. Damari Green ran for 123 yards and two scores on eight carries. Marcus Moore had 75 yards on five catches, and had four pass breakups, an interception and three tackles on defense. Edwin Spencer made nine and a half tackles and one for a loss, while Anthony Hampton made nine tackles.

Up until the last play of the game, Irondequoit quarterback Azavier Ross and sophomore receiver Cameron Freeman had been successful in finding seams in the Greece Athena secondary to exploit. So, it was little surprise that in overtime, with the Trojans up a touchdown, Ross looked to Freeman for the tying score. READ MORE.

Micah Harshfield accounted for four scores, three through the air and another on the ground to lead Red Jacket in the win. The junior threw for 177 yards and rushed for 147 yards, including a 78-yard touchdown run. Matt Allen traveled 181 yards on the ground for touchdowns from 22, 42 and five yards out. James Sibeto caught two receiving touchdowna of 57 and 69 yards, and Chase Verdi hauled in a 12-yard score and rushed for a 21-yard touchdown. Skyler Taylor scored on a 37-yard run to cap the scoring for the Indians. On defense, Harshfield made eight tackles and had two interceptions.
