Austin Dillenbeck ran amok for 106 yards on 15 handoffs and two touchdowns as Penfield rebounded from a loss last Friday. Senior wideout Alexander Young established himself in the trenches with seven carries, 42 yards and a score. Junior defensive back Christian Brown recorded a pick-six along with three tackles. Senior linebacker Nathan Lehigh guided the defense with 10 tackles and a sack.

Drew Pagano carved up the Webster Thomas defense for 390 passing yards and four touchdowns as Webster Schroeder dominated in the battle of crosstown rivals. The junior quarterback completed 17-of-20 passes. Senior wide receiver Torance Washington was the beneficiary of two of Pagano’s touchdowns as he hauled in three balls total for 91 yards. Justin Maier led the receiver corps with 149 yards on only four catches, including a score. Sophomore wideout Tyler Washington contributed a touchdown catch as well among his four balls totaling 54 yards. Senior running back Kaleb Juliano contributed a score through the trenches.

BATAVIA (5-0, No. 12 NYSSWA B) 42
Vincent Arroyo and Cameron McClinic left their mark by combining for five of Batavia’s six touchdowns. Arroyo led with the trifecta via two receiving scores from Ja’Vin McFollins and a 79-yard kickoff return to the house. Arroyo finished with 86 receiving yards on three balls. McClinic’s touchdowns came on the ground on a seven-yard run in the opening period and a three-yard sprint in the third quarter. The senior running back racked up 92 yards on 14 carries. Sophomore quarterback Bronx Buchholz rounded out the scoring with a 56-yard gallop to the end zone near the start of the final stanza. McFollins led the offense with 134 passing yards on 7-of-11 from the pocket. Senior linebacker Garrett Schmidt paced the defense with 11 tackles, including one for loss. Mekhi Fortes followed up with six tackles while Cooper Fix and McFollins both had five. Fix and McFollins both picked off a pass as well. Fix added one tackle for lost yardage.

Nathaniel Gardner amassed nine tackles on defense and caught a touchdown on offense as Dansville/Wayland-Cohocton bounced back from a loss last Saturday. Jonathan Eddy and Evan Gotshall both recorded seven tackles as part of a Mustangs’ defense which forced four turnovers and only allowed 158 total yards. Eddy picked off a pass while Gotshall added a sack. Junior defensive lineman Elijah Bender posted a pair of sacks among his six tackles. Offensively, Nickolas Belanger tossed the touchdown to Gardner while Zaiden VanDurme-Blackmon rushed for a 29-yard score.

For Geneva, junior wide receiver Quadere Lawson ran rampant for 211 rushing yards and a trio of touchdowns on 18 carries. Senior quarterback Anthony Torres scrambled for 75 yards and a score on seven carries. Junior defensive end Dakota Bajdas led with six tackles, including a sack, and a pass deflection.

Matthew Meacham threw for 217 passing yards and a touchdown to both Nolan Smith and Andrew Wanzenried as Honeoye Falls-Lima notched its second road victory of the season.

Manuel Sepulveda’s four catches and three touchdowns were enough to break the program records for career catches and touchdowns as East Rochester/Gananda rolled to its third consecutive win. Landon Cartagena, Miles Caviness and Cadearrell Sneed, Jr. all rushed for a touchdown. Cartagena’s score was the first rushing touchdown of his Varsity career. Caviness led the trio with 91 yards through the trenches. Junior linebacker Samuel Morgante led the defense with eight tackles. Derek Geronimo followed up with seven, including three for loss and a sack. Caleb Daniels had a tackle for loss and a sack as well.

Justin Yehl sliced up Hornell’s secondary for 128 passing yards and three touchdowns as Haverling cruised to its second straight victory. The senior quarterback spread the wealth, tossing a touchdown pass to three different receivers (Ezra Hoad, Zachary Musso and Ethan Narby). Musso led the receiver corps with 67 yards on four catches. Narby finished with the most net yards (158), including 128 on the ground, and a team-high 12 tackles. Senior linebacker William Clarke amassed seven tackles, including one for loss, one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries and a blocked extra point.

Tony Piazza punched in a pair of touchdowns as Le Roy converted three turnovers into a trio of scores to rebound from a loss last Friday. Piazza’s runs were three and five yards, respectively, as he amassed 114 yards on 15 carries. Junior quarterback Adrian Stephens showcased his arm with a two-yard touchdown pass to Merritt Holly in the final stanza. Jack Tonzi led the stout defense with six tackles, including one for loss. Ryan Higgins and Drew Strollo both recovered a fumble while Cal Koukides forced one. Koukides broke up four passes as well.

LETCHWORTH/WARSAW/PERRY (3-1, No. 18 NYSSWA C) 7
Bryant Van Housen posted a pick-six and rushing touchdown as Penn Yan/Dundee came out on top in a matchup of class C undefeated squads. Nick Slavick added a score through the trenches less than two minutes into the game as part of his 15-carry, 100-yard performance. The senior running back led the defense with 12 tackles as well. Anthony Druker and Ashtian Dunning both recorded three tackles and an interception. For Letchworth/Warsaw/Perry, Christopher Shearing connected with Braeden Wolfanger for a 15-yard touchdown halfway through the third quarter. Sophomore linebacker Noah Leitten led the defense with 14 1/2 tackles, including half for a loss.

For Avon, Wesley Farley ran for a pair of touchdowns. The sophomore running back finished with 79 yards on 15 carries. Senior defensive back Jake Driscoll led with six tackles.

Tyson Totten eclipsed 1,000 rushing yards on the season as Pembroke rolled to a road win. The senior running back exploded for 337 yards and four touchdowns. Caleb Felski and Cayden Pfalzer both chipped in a score. Avery Ferriera and Sean Pustulka both picked off a pass. Jayden Bridge and Jayden Mast both posted a sack. Jacob Dulski recovered a fumble.

Noah Currier and Bodie Hyde both scored a trio of touchdowns as Oakfield-Alabama/Elba posted its third 50-point outburst of the season. Currier produced all three of his scores on the ground in which he tore up the trenches for 215 yards on 13 carries. Hyde scrambled to the end zone twice among his seven direct snaps and hustled for a 68-yard pick-six. The junior quarterback accumulated 147 rushing yards and posted seven tackles, including a pair for loss, and three pass break-ups on defense. Connor Scott and Aiden Warner both punched in a rushing touchdown among their three pitches apiece. Scott, along with TJ Andrews and Brayden Smith, recorded seven tackles as well. Andrews had three tackles result in negative yardage while Smith had two. For York/Pavilion, Kadin Peete led with 65 rushing yards. Tyler Brady posted seven tackles.
