Kadyn Hartel struck out eight without issuing a walk and reached base all five times she came to the plate as Rush-Henrietta advanced to face No. 2 Victor in the semifinals. Hartel finished 2-for-4 with a walk, three RBI and a run scored at the plate. The ninth-grader retired nine straight batters and 10 of 11 from the end of the first into the fourth inning. She closed the game retiring the last seven faced. Elizabeth Gleghorn singled, doubled, walked twice and scored a pair of runs in the win. Katie Militello was 2-for-2 with two walks, two stolen bases and two runs scored. Militello’s run in the second inning gave the Royal Comets a lead they did not surrender. Carly Sobaszek singled, walked, stole a base and crossed home once in the game. Robyn Bond walked, drove in a run and scored once. Victor took both regular season meetings (8-1/10-6) with R-H. Hilton’s Lucy Murphy led the game with a single and eventually scored on a passed ball to give the Cadets an early 1-0 lead.

Carrie Sidare struck out 12 and allowed a run on three hits and one walk to pick up the win. Renee Carnevale paced Victor’s offense going 3-for-4 with a double, four RBI and four runs scored. Joelle Jay also doubled, drove in four and scored two runs. Leah Vanwyk homered, drove in two and scored two. Kylie Bickert was 3-for-4 with two RBI and to run scored. Greece’s Ally Ray Schumacher and Macie Vetter collected a double apiece. Schumacher scored the lone Greece run. Victor will look to win its third game this season over division rival Rush-Henrietta when the two teams meet in the semis.

Thomas took both regular season meeting between the two teams by a combined scored of 28-0.

Greta Marino and Lola Clarcq drove in a run apiece as Mendon erased a two-run deficit heading into the fifth and went on to win its fourth straight game and ninth in the past 10. Lily Goldberg struck out 15 and allowed three hits for the win. Neveah Bunch singled and drove in a run for Eastridge. Carly Brockman walked and scored. Jalissa Crittenden struck out three and allowed three runs (two earned) on three walks and a hit. Mendon will face No. 5 HF-L in the semis.
