Section V Playoff Preview: Baseball Class A2

The Class A2 bracket features six Monroe County teams, four RCAC squads and one more from the Finger Lakes East Division. The tournament opens with first-round games on Monday afternoon. Here’s the breakdown:

No. 1 seed EAST HIGH EAGLES (RCAC)
Record: 19-1
Coach: Kyle Crandall
Streak: Won eight straight
Runs scored per game: 10.3
Runs allowed per game: 2.2
Finish last season: Lost in first round of Class A sectionals to Brighton, 7-1
Opponent: No. 8 Wayne, Wednesday 5 p.m. at East High School

No. 2 seed PITTSFORD MENDON VIKINGS (Monroe County)
