James Capellupo got the win on the mound striking out eight batters, in five innings, in a game that was halted part way through the sixth, due to lightning. Michael Whelehan finished 2-for-3 at the plate, with a stolen base. Jeffery Broadnax and Dominic Brugno both went 1-for-2 with an RBI on the evening. Luke Schofield got a hit and scored two runs.

Nate Weber struck out nine and walked one in a complete-game effort as HF-L won for the third time in four games. Weber allowed one run on five hits. Leading 3-0, Xavier Carbonel tripled to start the third and scored one out later on a Carson Joint double. Robert Brown and Weber walked before Ethan Ford brought home Joint with a base hit. Brown eventually stole home for a 6-0 lead. Carbonel scored twice in the game. Brown crossed home three times. Ford had three RBI. Nolan Smith, Mike Principe and Sean Dailor each collected an RBI for HFL. Casey Wall 2-for-3 with a run scored. Aiden Neenan singled and scored. Griffin Mayo added a base hit. Tom Bareham tripled and scored the lone Eastridge run. Connor Welch finished 2-for-3 while Evan Vinci singled and drove in a run for the Lancers.

AJ Debalso, with two outs in the bottom of the sixth took a 1-1 pitch to centerfield for a two-run single, to give Canandaigua the lead heading into the seventh. Aaron Crunick came on for the save, in relief of Matthew Papenfuss. The defense captured the final two outs, thanks to a line-out to first and a ground out to third on the next two batters. Debalso finished 2-for-3, with three RBI. Along with the save, Crunick went 1-for-3 at the plate, with an RBI-double in the second, to give Canandaigua its first run. Papenfuss got the win, and struck out five batters, while allowing five hits and four runs, through six innings. For the Trojans, Aleksander Englert doubled and drove in the first run of the game.

Zach Lamberton struck out seven and allowed three runs (none earned) on five hits and four walks over 6.2 innings to notch his first varsity win. The ninth-grader also finished 2-for-2 at the plate with a triple, two walks, an RBI and a run scored. Brady John highlighted a six-run fifth inning with a pair of doubles. John scored a run and drove in another in the frame when the Rangers sent 11 to the plate. Shaun Cannon went 3-for-4 in the win with an RBI and two runs scored. Frank Grad had two hits in four at-bats with two runs scored. Joe Marcello doubled, went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored. Anthony DiMarco singled, scored and drove in a run. Lucas Leone went 3-for-4 with two RBI to lead Aquinas. Tré Walker scored a run for the Li’l Irish. Aiden Morris, Will Scanlon and Joe Campbell had a hit apiece for Aquinas.

Brian Tisa finished 2-for-3 including a leadoff double in the sixth when Irondequoit snapped a two-all tie and went on to win back-to-back games. Tisa moved to third on a tag play and scored on a Thomas Tisa bunt single. Kyle Pioch entered as a pinch runner and eventually stole home for a 5-3 lead. The Eagles added three more runs in the seventh when four straight batters reached with two outs. Sam Lessard went 2-for-4 with the three RBI and two runs scored in the win. Matt Jorstad was 2-for-4 with an RBI. Tino Tiermini hurled three shutout innings in relief to pick up the win. Brighton’s Matt Howe and Andrew Cranston both singled and drove in a run. Andrew Kotrides and Ben Comeau both crossed home for the Bruins.

Daniel Mariani only needed 59 pitches through five innings, striking out four, and giving up the only two hits to the Titans. Mendon took full advantage on the base-paths, stealing a total of five bases, the leader being Brendan Kane with two. Hitting third, Kane legged out an infield single on his first at bat. He was then hit by a pitch in the fifth, then and jumped on a wild pitch to score the fifth run of the game. He reached on a fielding error in his last at-bat, scoring Zachary Young in the seventh. Mendon finished with seven hits on the evening, each recorded by a different player. Daniel Palumbo and Colden Forney each had two RBI apiece.For Arcadia, Jacob Tsymbal and Aiden Candelaria each had a hit.

Anthony Shortino struck out seven and scattered two hits and two walks over five innings to pick up the win, the seventh straight victory for Churchville. Cooper Romich finished 2-for-3 with a double, two runs scored and an RBI to lead the Saints’ offense. Zach Miner doubled, drove in two runs and scored another. Kaleb Cieslinski, Joshua Campbell and David Herzog singled and scored run apiece for C-C. Evan Putney struck out four over two shutout innings of relief. Aaron Henry and Angelo Morales had the Gates-Chili hits.

Paul Byrne earned the win, hurling 87 pitches, striking out eight., through five innings, allowing three hits and one run. Tyler Mullin came on in relief collecting the final six outs, two via strikeouts, on seven batters faced. Alexander Renzi was hit by the pitch, with two outs in the bottom of the second, after the bases were loaded thanks to three walks in the inning. That tied the score at one, and was then followed by an RBI-single, off the bat of Jackson Zawacki, the made the score two to one. Sutherland scored four runs in the fourth and five in the fifth, totaling six hits. Bryne, Jacob Fekete, Cole Mann, Cole Pringle, and Zawacki each had a hit and one RBI apiece. Mann scored three times. Renzi finished with two RBI, and Noah Littlefield collected a hit, drew two walks and score once. Batavia scored its only run off an error in the first inning.

Joey Presutti delivered the game-winning hit in a six-run rally, as Thomas entered the bottom of the sixth trailing two to one. In his first varsity at-bat, Presutti took to the box with two out, and the game tied at two. He delivered a go-ahead, RBI-single to centerfield, driving in pinch-runner, Kyle Zeman. Josh Butka and Nate Hill each added a two-run single. Butka finished 2-for-3at the plate, with two RBI. Hill went 2-for-4 with two RBI. Colby Wilson had two hits, including the game-tying RBI double. Brother, Garett Wilson finished with a hit: a single that started off the six-run sixth. Thomas Rebis had two hits and two RBI for Odyssey/Olympia.

Jake Weiss and Jack Hickey combined for seven strikeouts, giving up three hits and two runs, as the Patriots won their fifth straight game, their second consecutive a 4-2 score. The Patriots got going in the second, as the first three batters were walked. Following a strikeout, designated-hitter, Colin Crowley brought home Alexander Young with a sacrifice fly. Crowley got his second RBI of the night, again hitting the first pitch for an RBI double. In the fifth, Austin Dillenbeck singled, stole second, and scored the same batter off a double to right field by Aidan Pacatte. Dillon Kelly and Cameron Richards scored the Rush-Henrietta runs.

Jack Cannon struck out six and walked three over 6.2 innings to pick up the win as Schroeder won its fourth straight game. The junior left-hander allowed four hits. Kaleb Juliano registered the save when he retired the final batter of the game on a fly ball to leave the bases loaded. Tyler Stack had a single, an RBI and scored a run. Fairport’s Connor Sackett reached base three times with a single, double and a walk.

Victor Arroyo had three hits including a home run, a double, five RBI and two runs scored. Michael Conrow went 4-for-5 with a double, triple, two RBI and four runs scored. Dion Mather was 3-for-4 with two walks, two doubles, two RBI and five runs scored.

Brady McCarthy had three RBI and one hit: a two-RBI double in the first to start the scoring for the Spartans. Ethan Cramer, Austin Cincinello, and Bradyn Orbaker combined for 12 strikeouts in the 30 batters faced, giving up seven hits, two walks and two earned runs. Orbaker went one for three at the plate, with two RBI that came off a single in the third. Jacob Laird had the only other hit for Sodus, being an RBI-double in a three-run third.

Chris Finocchario, Jr. started off the scoring with a triple in the first on a 2-1 liner to center, scoring leadoff man Noah Brooks, who singled on the second pitch of the bottom of the first. Finocchario Jr. took advantage of a passed ball on the next batter, scoring the second run. The senior started and threw six innings on the hill, retiring 11 on strikes, walking two, and giving up four hits in the shutout. Reliever, Paul Goodness preserved the shutout, striking out one of the three batters faced. Goodness also had a triple of his own in the fourth, taking a 1-1 pitch to centerfield, notching two RBI, in the four inning. Michael Prentice finished two for three at the plate, including a double of a full-count in the second at-bat of the game.

Tyler Arno finished 3-for-4 with two doubles and a walk along with striking out three over three innings to pick up the win for Geneva. Gavin Brignall went 3-for-4 with a double, triple and two walks. Troy Snook added two doubles for the Panthers. Brignall threw three innings for Geneva. Waterloo’s Casey Burcroff and Dylan Bienvenue both went 2-for-4 with two singles and a walk.

Avon entered the bottom of the seventh inning, down 5-2, but came alive, with a seven-run rally, to win the game. Michael Rowland played a significant role, going 2-for-3, with three RBI and two runs scored. Christopher Kashorek went 2-for-3 with a triple in the game. In all, 11 runs were scored in the final inning. Kashorek picked up the win on the hill, giving up seven hits, one earned run, and striking out five, in a matter of six and one-third innings. Jack Browne chipped-in with a hit and an RBI for Avon. Tyler Marino and Trent Woods both contributed two hits apiece and a run scored for Alexander. Jofy Donnelley also had two hits for the Trojans.

Luke Ciprich and Peyton Connor connected on run-scoring doubles in the first inning when Gananda sent 10 to the plate and took a lead it did not surrender at 5-1. Ciprich started the scoring when he drove in Henry Shutts, and Connor capped the frame when brought home Andrew Gleason and Aiden Giancursio. Ciprich finished the game 4-for-4 at the plate with two runs scored. Connor was 3-for-3 with a walk and four RBI in the win. Giancursio went 2-for-4 with four RBI and three runs scored. Matt Gleason had two hits in three at-bats with a walk, two RBI and a run scored. Andrew Gleason struck out seven over four innings to pick up the win. Giancursio tossed two shutout innings of relief. Jack Frick singled, walked and scored twice. East Rochester’s Parker Seeley singled, walked twice and scored a run. Noah Wollschleger walked twice and scored. Tyler Leisten singled and scored. Ryan Flanagan also crossed home for the Bombers.

Tucker Gerych played hero in the bottom of the sixth, as he spoiled a no-hitter through five innings by Tytus Marvin, when he took a 3-2 fastball for a long home run. McCoy Putnam and Pacey Hopkins followed with base hits, but Marvin worked out of trouble. Haden Abbott showed excellent precision and efficiency, dealing up a no-hitter for Avoca, striking out five batters, and only surrendering two walks.
