The bats came alive for Pittsford Sutherland, as they doubled up Webster in hits, collecting 12 total knocks. After Webster jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the first, Pitttsford answered with 11 unanswered runs. Left fielder, Jack Zawacki was the biggest contributor, driving in five runs off two hits, including a three-run bomb to centerfield in the back half of the fourth. Junior, Thomas Carter picked up the win, recording two strikeouts and giving up two hits through four and two thirds innings. Seniors, Jacob Fekete and Alexander Renzi both collected three hits, while Fekete drove in three runs, thanks to a three-RBI triple in the bottom of the first. Colby Wilson was a bright spot for Webster, as he knocked home two runs, including the opening run off a ground-out in the first, and scored in the fifth, courtesy of a double by Shane Talbot.

Penfield picked up its sixth win of the season, thanks to an ace performance by senior, Tommy DiFranco. Through six innings pitched, DiFranco struck out seven, surrendering only two earned runs. DiFranco also went 2-for-5 at the plate, with a double and a run scored. Austin Dillenbeck, Aidan Pacatte, and Jake Weiss all went two for three at the plate, all driving driving in at least a run.

Senio, Jacob Falvey stole the show, throwing a complete game shutout through four innings, striking out two and giving up three hits. Brockport picked up its second straight game, due to 12-hit performance, in which seven of nine batters recorded at least one hit and an RBI. The mercy was sealed in large-part to a ten run, seven hit, third inning, which saw four straight hits to lead off the bottom of the inning. The short rally was included a triple off the bat of Cooper Hassall that drove home the third and fourth runs for Blue Devils, and was then brought home by a proceeding single by Jacob Falvey. Hassall finished with four RBI and Jacob Cole had three.

EASTRIDGE (5-4) 4
This game was greatly in the Lancers’ favor, as they recorded four runs throughout the first two innings, but momentum turned on Eastridge. Irondequoit took advantage of seven walks, two errors, and two hit batters throughout the next three innings. The biggest of which, being the top of the third, that featured seven scored runs, thanks to four consecutive walks, a hit batter, and a proceeding walk that brought home Irondequoit’s first three runs. The first hit did not come till the ninth batter, being a two-run single off the bat of Carraig Jones. Leo Tellier and Tino Tiermini combined for 14 strikeouts and surrendered seven hits, as the latter picked up the win.

The Warriors wasted no time, by scoring six runs, and recording five of their nine hits, on their first turn to the plate. The hit parade opened with a big-time homer by Jack Cannon that sailed over the left-field fence. Webster took advantage of the four consecutive hits that followed, a wild pitch, and a throwing error. For the rest of the game, the spotlight belonged to Michael Salina, who stared through six innings, mustering up 11 strikeouts and giving up only one earned run, that came in the sixth. Twin brother Matthew Salina came closed out the win. Senior, Tobey Wright drove in the solo run for the Royal Comets, on a 1-2 blast to center-field, which brought home fellow senior, Joseph Grzeskowiak.

The Titans regained hope with their first win of the season, thanks to ten hits and a solid day on the hill for Dom Zona and Parker Drees. Arcadia went on a seven-run tear in the third and fourth innings, with featured a single from Jathniel Martinez to drive in the Titans first run, and a two-run double one batter latter by Drees. In the top of the fourth inning, Greece took advantage of a walk and back-to-back singles by Zona and Jacob Tysmbal, to load the bases. The next two plays resulted in a fielding error and a walk, that gave Arcadia the eventual winning run. Tyler Reichert had a single on the next at bat, to drive another run, as he finished with two hits, one RBI, and two runs scored. Zona and Drees both chipped in with two hits apiece. For the Spartans, Vincent Lucyszyn led the way with three hits, two RBI and scored twice. Charles Healey also turned in a great performance, striking out six batters, and only allowing one earned run, of four hits in the final four innings, as he came on relief for Regan Clancy. Clancy bested his performance on the rubber, with two hits, and scoring one on the base-path.

This game came down to the final play, after Wellsville rallied on to a timely six-run seventh, knotting the game at ten. With runners on the corners and two outs, sophomore, Russel Barone stepped to the plate, looking for his second hit of the night. Jumping ahead 3-1 in the count, Barone took advantage of the next pitch he saw, roping it out to right-field. That drove in pinch-runner Scott Norris, and gave Canandaigua the victory. Barone joined teammate Matthew Pawlicki for three RBI each on the day. For Wellsville, leadoff batter Cody Costello recorded three hits and three RBI. Wellsville also took advantage of four costly errors by the Braves in the sixth and seventh innings, helping them score eight runs in the two frames.

Ian Goodness tossed a five-inning shutout, striking out nine batters, giving up two hits, and zero walks, keeping the undefeated season alive for Pal-Mac. The Red Raiders’ bats stayed hot throughout the short outing, turning in four multi-hit performances. Alex Wootton led the way with three hits, two RBI, and two runs scored. Goodness continued his stellar performance with two extra-base hits and an RBI. Chris Finocchario added two hits and two RBI, while Noah Brooks tacked on a triple and a double, for one RBI. Jacob Laird turned in a solid performance, earning nine strikeouts, giving up two hits, through four innings. He added to the performance with a hit and an RBI. Max Waldron dished out seven strikeouts through four and one third innings for the Golden Eagles. Ethan Cramer went three for five at the plate, with three singles. Logan Bulman contributed greatly on the base path, stealing four bases and scoring three times.

The Eagles rebounded for their third win of the season, with strong performances by Kyle Tomaselli and Michael Prentice on the mound. Tomaselli retired five via strike out, and gave up only one hit and one earned run through through innings pitched. Michael Prentice came on in relief, giving up two hits, as Waterloo scored two in the seventh, flirting with a comeback. Prentice also started off the scoring with an RBI single. He then proceeded to steal second, and scored off an error. Prentice ripped a double into center in the fifth, to drive home the Eagles third run. Devin Mulvey-Salerno and Chase Robson both recorded with one hit for Waterloo.

Ace, Maddox Timothy, Jr threw a gem on the mound, carving up the plate, with nine strikeouts, allowing only four hits, for a six inning, complete game win. Sophomore, Joe Bauer sealed the mercy, with a 2-RBI poke in the back-half of the sixth. York turned in a series of commendatory performances. Adam Swede, Jake Pangrazio and Brodie Hatfield each provided two hits, with Swede collecting two RBI and Pangrazio driving home one.

Pitching shined for both sides. Winning pitcher, Camden Reed went all seven innings, tallying six strikeouts, allowing two hits, and one earned run. Blue Devil, Wyatt Bryman went for eight strikeouts, and drove home Attica’s only run with an RBI double. Senior, Kyle Wade picked up two hits, while Scott Essig and Alex Carnes both added RBI singles.
