The sophomore guard poured 12 points in the second quarter. Overall, Lipscomb made seven field goals and seven free throws. The 6-foot-2 guard dished out 10 assists and swiped three steals. Senior guard Mike Morgan followed up with 16 points. Sophomore forward Edmari Binion contributed 13 points, 11 rebounds and two blocks. Divine Thomas (8), Jabric Larkins (4) and Marcqell Freeman (2) rounded out the scoring for the Inventors. Thomas gobbled 13 rebounds. For UPrep, James Mathews poured in a game-high 27 points. Mathews scored seven points in the first quarter, five in the second, eight in the third and seven in the fourth. Mylan Maxwell netted all 15 of his points after the opening period. The senior center made nine field goals and scored 16 of his points in the first half. Junior forward Brayden Steve netted all 13 of his points after the opening stanza in which the Reds led, 16-9. Preston Prince scored five of Hilton’s nine overtime points as the Cadets rallied for their fourth straight win. Trailing 49-43 entering the fourth quarter, the senior forward netted eight points in the period as the Cadets outscored Greece Athena, 20-14, to force an extra stanza. Overall, Prince amassed 20 of his 27 points after the first quarter. The 6-foot-4 forward converted eight field goals from inside the arc and 11-of-19 free throws. Junior center Greyson Trubia scored 10 of his 14 points in the second half and accumulated eight blocks. Michael Whelehan hit two three-pointers as part of his 13-point performance. Senior forward Derek Cavey contributed 12 points. For Greece Athena, James Reaves, Jr. poured in all 23 of his points after the opening period. Rowe finished just shy of a triple-double as she filled the box score with 11 points, 12 boards, nine steals, four assists and two blocks. Hall scored 12 points, hauled in 13 rebounds and swatted two shots. Freshman guard Amaia Jackson paced the scoring with 14 points along with seven assists and five boards. Junior forward Caydence Hadley impacted the middle with nine points, 11 rebounds and six blocks. Senior center Akon Awuok rounded out the scoring with three points.

The sophomore guard connected eight times from the floor over the first 16 minutes as the Warriors went on to win their fifth straight game. Bria Watkins added 19 points. Andraia DiPisa and Sarah Ferruzza added seven points apiece. Ava Gallup accounted for six points. Julia Perales (5), Rachel DeMocker (5), Anna Rogers (4), Izzy VerHow (2) and Molly Broccolo (2) rounded out the scoring for Schroeder. Mariah Freeman led Athena with 19 points. Laura Branagan had eight points for the Trojans. Jamie McConnell had six points, and Lynia Thomas added five.
