Christon Wester hit a game-winning 3-pointer with :12 seconds remaining to lift NE Douglass to its third win in five games. Chris James finished the game with 14 points and 14 rebounds to go with five assists including the dime on Wester’s game winner. Wilson Riaa also posted a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Roberto Echevarria connected on eight 3-pointers for a team-high 33 points. Jules Boatwright added two points for the Panthers. Monroe’s Jaquan Shears scored a game-high 36 points on 16 made field goals. Jeremiah Kpor and Felton Gray added 11 apiece. Davion Jones scored eight points while Khalil Graham and Antonio Borrero both had two points.

Shamere Freeman and Terence Thompson bot posted double-doubles as Franklin won its second straight game. Freeman finished with 16 points and 10 assists while Thompson had 10 points and 10 rebounds. Shawn Goins paced the Franklin offense with a game-high 17 points. Shedreeck Knight had 10 points in the win. TaiJohn Lewis (7), AJ McKinnon (6), Chauncey White-Oliver (5), Elijah Saleem (4) and Sincere Rivera (4) rounded out the Franklin scoring. DaiQuon McKinney paced the Leadership offense with 17 points. Dayveon Weems had 12 points while Cameron Miller had 11. Jahmere Kirkland and Kenny Couser accounted for 10 apiece. Abdul Hussein scored three points. Charles Fairley and Jahmarrie Pass both scored two points.

Phil Nwugwo had eight of game-high 22 points in the first quarter when Victor grabbed a lead it did not surrender on the way to winning its sixth game by double-digits this season. Nwugwo connected four times from the floor in the opening minutes when the Blue Devils outscored Schroeder 19-5. Nick Leonard added 11 points in the win. AJ Queri added nine. Jonah Whittier scored five. Rohan Chitre, Brennan Hopkins and Cam Ryan each scored four points. Luis Diaz-Rivera had two points. Ben Carey paced Schroeder with 10 points. Nick Hauman had nine. Matt Salina (6), Jon McCaffrey (6), Tyler Race (3), Michael Salina (3) Nate DeMay (2) and Lance Becoats (2) rounded out the scoring for Schroeder.

Caquan Wester asserted himself in the post, leading all scorers with 25 points. The 6-foot-7 Wester was the tallest player on the floor, with an inch on HF-L big man Nolan Smith, and played like it by putting back his team’s misses for layups and and-one opportunities. Smith contributed 22 points himself, tallying four field goals in the fourth quarter as the Cougars temporarily cut the lead to single-digits. READ MORE.

Jackson Kulik scored a season-high 29 points, and Webster Thomas won for the fourth time in five games. Kulik connected eight times from the floor including five 3-pointers and converted 8-of-9 free throw attempts. Andrew Quinn scored 15 points in the win. Shawn Mason added five while Will Richardson (2), David Petz (2) and Sean Linder (1) also scored for the Titans. Andrew Falter paced the Brighton offense with 15 points. Eli Desandis and Reggie Smith, Jr. scored 12 apiece. Matt Howe added seven. Quinn O’Brien, Andrew Kotrides and David Tisa, Jr. each scored two points.

Cameron Brown scored 30 points for Gates-Chili which used a 26-point third quarter to pull away from Spencerport. Kani Mitchem added 19 points for the Spartans while Ryan Santiago had 15 points.  Ayden Grinion and Anthony DiCesare scored six apiece while Ty Stevenson had four. Ty Heaton led Spencerport with 14 points. Kyle Milburn had 11 and Justin Schnauber eight points.  Jason Marchincin chipped in with six while Taron Beachum (4), Giancarlo Piperni (2), Te’Jon McCadney (2) and Antonio Diaz (1) rounded out the Rangers’ scoring.

Landen Evans and Anthony Starks combined for 49 points as Olympia won for the fourth time in five games. Evans hit four 3-pointers in the third quarter when the Spartans turned a six-point deficit into a five-point advantage. Evans finished with six triples on the night and 24 points. Starks led all scored with 25 points. Jahod Faison added 10 points in the win. Bryce Long had nine while Ricky Hill (5), Luis Muñoz (2) and Ayden Gorham (2) also scored for Olympia. Latrell Rowe scored 18 points to lead Arcadia’s offense. Vincent Caccia and Michael Bolger added 12 apiece. Gabe Taylor had 11 points. Ryan Mineo, Marlon McCullough and Austin DiNatale each scored three points.

Evan Leonardo connected four times from behind the 3-point arc to pace a 22-1 Irondequoit run to close the first quarter and the Eagles won their fourth straight game and fifth in the past six.  Leonardo finished the game with seven 3-pointers and scored 20 of his game-high 28 points by halftime. Xavier Gissendanner added 17 points in the win while Ryan Heath and Damon Brumfield chipped in with 11 apiece. Charles Barnes scored two points. The win was the fourth straight for Irondequoit. The Eagles’ man-to-man defense forced Churchville to take contested shots throughout the game.  Robert Munding paced the Saints with 21 points while Jason Gibbs contributed 18, both scoring 14 in the second half. Joaquon Thomas had seven points for C-C. Tyler Meisenzahl and Cam Taylor both had two points.

Mike Morgan finished with 18 points, eight assists and seven rebounds as Edison won for the fourth time in six games. Jabari Johnson had 10 points in the win. Divine Thomas collected 12 rebounds, five points and three steals. Tyler Bethea scored nine points while Marcqell Freeman had seven. Noah White had four points and Davijon Lipscomb three points. Zee Johnson scored 17 for Bishop Kearney. Colin Gentile had 10.

Trailing 64-62 with :05 seconds left, Northstar Christian’s Ryan Garwood received a pass at half-court and dribbled through three defenders and hit a layup to send the game in overtime.  From there, the senior guard scored seven points in overtime and the Knights won their sixth game in a row. Garwood poured in a season-high 36 points in the win.  Andrew Eschner chipped in 14 points and Justin Robinson scored a career-high 13 points. Jayden Ridley-Scott led Vertus with 21 points. Reginald Pough had 19 points for the Warriors. Gerod Jackson had 11. Earlington Walker scored eight points. Tajmeik Hawkins had five points, and Trevor Scott scored four.

Deonte Major converted four-of-four free throw attempts in overtime as RACS held off a late Avon rally to stay undefeated. Major finished with a game-high 15 points. Joe Aiken hit four 3-pointers and finished with 14 points. Josiah Heyward connected on 3-of-4 attempts from behind the 3-point arc and had 11 points. Evariste Omebe gathered nine rebounds to go with three blocks and two points. Christian Coleman had six rebounds and five points. Darren Hunter handed out six assists. Kam McDonald had seven points and three steals. Adrian McMath, Ja’seir Samuels and Perry Washington each had a point. Avon’s Hudson Volpe posted a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.  Lee Hartke had 11 points. Michael Rowland added 10 points, and Zach Colvin had seven points and 11 rebounds. Trailing 39-33 heading into the fourth quarter, the Braves outscored RACS 11-5 over the final eight minutes of regulation.

Merritt Holly poured in 34 points and grabbed eight rebounds as Le Roy bounced back from a 58-49 loss to York in its last outing to win for the seventh time in the past eight games. Teammate Finn Shelby had 15 points and nine rebounds in the win. Mitch Hockey collected 14 points and five assists while John Panepento had nine points and six assists.

Livonia opened up the game on a 15-0 run and never trailed as the Bulldogs won for the second time in three games. Evan Swan led Livonia with 14 points, seven rebounds and four blocked shots.  Chris Coyle added 13 points, four rebounds and four assists while Jack Kearney rounded out the scoring with 12 points three assists and five rebounds.  Pavilion’s Colton Dziekan led all scorers with 16 points.

Drew Morrow scored 17 points to go with 12 rebounds and four steals as Dansville won its seventh straight game. Dawson Wadsworth collected 11 points, four assists, three steals and three rebounds in the win. Jakob Smith grabbed 10 rebounds and scored three points. Calab Rigdon accounted for nine points. Reid Martin (4). Aazan Soahail (4) and Collin Gray (5) also scored for the Mustangs. Bryce APplin had three rebounds and two assists. Ben Sick grabbed two rebounds and scored two points. Jaiden Buchinger scored seven points to lead Keshequa. Reese Powers had five points. Hunter Blow and Cassius Chestnut scored three apiece. Tyler Mallaber accounted for two points.

Haverling’s Keefer Calkins scored 22 points. AJ Brotz had 13. DJ Smith added 10 points.

“Really proud with the effort and toughness the guys played with against a very physical and athletic Bath team,” Cal-Mum head coach Dan Dickens said. “Kyle really took over in stretches for us on offense, and I thought our team defense was really good playing a bigger Bath squad.”

Ian Goodness led three in double figures with 20 points. Paul Goodness had 13 and Aiden Nice scored 10 points. Braxton Zarpentine led Kendall with 20 point, four rebounds, two blocks and two steals.  Zach Barrett had 14 points, four rebounds and three assists.  Devin Edick finished with nine points, five rebounds and four assists.

Bria Watkins scored six of her 14 points in overtime to lead Webster Schroeder to its fourth win in five games. Watkins connected on a 3-pointer and converted 3-of-4 free throws in the extra period when Schroeder outscored Victor 13-5. Mariah Watkins finished with a game-high 19 points including eight in the fourth quarter when the Warriors erased a three-point deficit. Julia Perales hit two 3-pointers in the win and had eight points. Andraia DiPisa scored seven and Sarah Ferruza had six. Ava Gallup chipped in with two points. Eva Pronti led the Victor offense with 16 points. Kaitlin Murphy added 11 for the Blue Devils. Rachel Gill scored nine while Grace Callaghan (7), Emily Neenan (3) and Vanessa Chumacero (2) also scored for Victor.

Julia Geitner accounted for eight points. Kyleigh Chapman (7) and Brooke Rizzo (3) rounded out the scoring for the Braves. Aimee Turner scored six points for Arcadia.
