Senior guard Mike Morgan collected half of his 12 points from beyond the arc and grabbed eight rebounds. Sophomore guard Marcqell Freeman combined for all 10 of his points in the first and third quarters. For Leadership Academy, senior guard Jahmere Kirkland poured in all 16 of his points in the second half. Sophomore forward DaiQuon McKinney combined for all 13 of his points in the second and third quarters and swiped three steals. Freshman center Cameron Miller chipped in four points and hauled in 10 rebounds. Jose Melendez and Matt Thomas both dished out four assists. Melendez finished with six points and Thomas one. Blackwood converted eight field goals from inside the arc and six foul shots to finish with 22 points. The sophomore forward snatched 11 rebounds for a double-double along with two steals, one block and an assist. CJ Cammack (7), Robert McCullough (7), Will Scanlon (4), Mykel White (4) and Chris Leysath (2) rounded out the scoring for the L’il Irish.

Senior guard Evan Raniewicz collected 12 points, five assists and four rebounds. Sophomore forward Nate Doll recorded nine points, 10 boards and three steals. For Mount Morris, senior guard Stephen Somers exploded for a game-high 34 points, including 23 in the first half. Sophomore guard Chase Young added nine points.
