I was pleasantly surprised when my son, Todd Lewis emailed this article to me that included his son Caleb and my grandson Caleb! The newspaper’s are very involved with professional athletes and don’t print anything about our local kids who work very hard at their sports! It is a shame that these kids aren’t getting their due respect! I have 7 grandchildren that are heavily involved in school sports(Canandaigua and Pittsford) and that means they work hard not only at their sports but also their grades! They deserve as much if not more recognition as the overpaid professionals! I always did scrape books for my grandchildren with articles from their sports,(JCClifford and AJ Clifford) at graduation! Now with no newspaper coverage (very little if any) I am afraid this will not continue! I thank you for your coverage and wish you could convince our local papers to the same ( Democrat and Daily Messenger)
