Mason and Myles Blackwood combined for 49 points to lead Aquinas to its second straight win. Mason Blackwood led with 27 points, including 16 in the second half. The sophomore forward converted nine field goals, including three from beyond the arc, and 6-of-6 free throws. Myles Blackwood followed up with 11 of his 22 points in the third quarter. Senior guard Robert McCullough scored all 12 of his points in the final 16 minutes of game play. Jordan Jordan combined for all 10 of his points in the second and fourth quarters. Jack Bleier contributed five points and Mykel White chipped in three.

Senior guard Evan Raniewicz scored 20 points and swiped four steals as Caledonia-Mumford swept a four-game homestand to open the season. Scott Essig and Kyle Wade both followed up with 16 points. Wade stuffed the stat sheet with 11 rebounds, five assists, three blocks and three steals. Essig hauled down seven boards. Alex Carnes and Jeremy Raymond both chipped in 11 points. Carnes added six rebounds. Sophomore forward Nate Doll contributed seven rebounds. For Pavilion, junior guard Zack Tillotson led with 17 points. Colton Dziekan chipped in eight points.

It is something I thought has been lacking at times for us at the start of the season. It’s nice to have all nine guys who played score and contribute to the win. Senior guard Logan Evans accumulated 25 points, nine rebounds and six steals to lead Marion to its third straight win. Junior guard Mike Phillips produced a double-double of 15 points and 10 boards along with four steals. Liam Phelps (8), Gabe Gruttadaurio (5), Bradon Short (4) and Jacob Couperus (2) rounded out the scoring for the Knights.

Max Yamil-Cabezudo-Brown posted a triple-double of 23 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists as Harley-Allendale-Columbia rolled to its fourth consecutive victory. The senior forward added three steals and a block. Rafael Ferguson recorded a double-double of 12 points and 14 boards along with three steals. Junior guard Theo Colosimo accumulated 11 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and a steal. Freshman guard Carter Reid contributed 10 points and a pair of steals. Junior guard Ryan Curwin exploded for nine steals along with his nine points. Senior guard Quinn Hartman collected seven points, five assists and four rebounds.

Kam McDonald scored 10 of his game-high 17 points in the third quarter when Rochester Academy pulled away for its second straight double-digit win. McDonald connected five times from the floor coming out of halftime as the Racers outscored Lyndonville 24-7 in the stanza. Joe Aikens added all seven of his points for the game in the third quarter. Deonte Major finished the contest with eight points, nine steals and three assists. Jaylin Duval had six points and 13 rebounds while Christian Coleman accounted for six points and eight rebounds. Josiah Heyward contributed seven points and eight rebounds. Evariste Omebe had six points and seven rebounds. Adrian McMath and Perry Washington had six points apiece. Noah Poler led Lyndonville with 16 points. Trenton Muck had 14. Jack Whipple scored five points.

Jayla Bell and Imani Harder both recorded triple-doubles to pace Lyons to its third consecutive victory. Harder led with 17 points, 12 rebounds and 10 steals. Bell followed up with 16 points, 10 boards and 10 steals. Harder added three blocks while Bell added two assists and a swatted shot. Freshman guard Mikayla Chase produced 16 points, five rebounds and four steals. Seventh-grade guard Nadia Chase stuffed the stat sheet with six points, eight boards, seven steals, two assists and a block. Kamryn Bonnell chipped in six points and Cierra Harrison contributed three.
