Olivia Colon Mercado had foiur points and eight rebounds. Attica collected 25 teams steals. Avon’s Ali DiFranco paced the Braves with 17 points.

Marcqell Freeman scored eight of his game-high 18 points in the third quarter when Edison Tech turned a one-possession game into a double-digit lead. Freeman connected on a pair of 3-pointers and hit one more field goal during the period as the Inventors outscored Athena 22-14 for a 59-49 lead heading into the fourth quarter. Freeman also had six assists and four steals in Edison’s second-straight win. Brandon Latson added 14 points. Mike Morgan had 13 and Davijon Lipscomb 11. Sophomore Edmari Binion grabbed 15 rebounds to go with eight points. Jabari Johnson (7), Tyler Bethea (6), Divine Thomas (2) and Zirell Williams (2) also scored for Edison. Izaiah Stewart led Athena with 17 points. Khorie Reaves added 15. Marco DeRubeis and Frankie Oropeza scored eight apiece while James Reaves, Jr. had seven points. Leading by three, the senior guard connected seven times from the floor during the third when the Cadets outscored Churchville 18-9. Prince finished the game with 10 field goals and hitting 7-of-8 from the free throw line. Greyson Trubia added 17 points while Michael Whelehan had 14. Derek Cavey and Matt Mastowski scored five apiece. Andrew Marean (3) and John Bianchi (2) rounded out the scoring for Hilton. Jason Gibbs paced C-C with 15 points. Joaquon Thomas and Collin Curley added 11 apiece. Robert Munding contributed nine points.
