How they got here: Warsaw (No. 2 NYSSWA Class C) opened with a 10-1 win over No. 16 seed Pembroke in the first round and No. 9 seed Avon, 4-1, in the quarterfinals before advancing past No. 4 seed Williamson, 6-0, in the semifinals. Geneseo (No. 11 NYSSWA Class C) defeated No. 15 seed Sodus, 8-0, in the first round and No. 10 seed Canisteo-Greenwood, 3-0, in the quarterfinals before advancing past No. 6 seed Addison, 1-0, in the semifinals.

History 101: Warsaw defeated Geneseo, 2-0, on October 13th to sweep the season series. Warsaw is making its third consecutive sectional final appearance. The Tigers defeated Williamson, 2-1, to win the 2019 Class C1 title and fell to Avon, 1-0, in last season’s championship. Geneseo is back in the sectional final after winning Class C2 last year. The Blue Devils defeated Byron-Bergen, 2-1, for the title.
A 7:30 p.m. kickoff is scheduled at Caledonia-Mumford High School.
