Section V Boys’ Soccer Class A heads to Churchville-Chili, Greece Arcadia, Pittsford Sutherland and Wayne for the Elite Eight. Seven of the top eight seeds remain. Here’s the breakdown:
No. 1 seed PITTSFORD SUTHERLAND KNIGHTS (14-1-2/Monroe County Division III) vs. No. 8 seed SPENCERPORT RANGERS (8-5-3/Monroe County Division II)
How they got here: Pittsford Sutherland (No. 2 NYSSWA Class A) opened with a 4-0 win over No. 16 seed Greece Athena. Spencerport tied with No. 9 seed Aquinas, 1-1, and advanced on penalty kicks.
