Clyde Davis, Jr. delivered three touchdown passes to lead UPrep to a shutout victory in the sectional quarterfinals. The senior quarterback completed 13-of-18 passes for 151 yards and connected with Mark McClary twice and Dekahri Carter once for a score. McClary reeled in six receptions for 89 yards while Carter’s lone catch was the 19-yard score. Senior running back Raykim Chenier commanded the trenches with 139 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries. Carter and Nazir Wynn both registered seven tackles to lead the defense. Wynn added two tackles for loss and a 40-yard scoop-and-score. Carter picked off a pass and returned it 15 yards. Senior defensive tackle Sharod Watkins followed up with six and a half tackles, including one and a half for lost yardage, and a forced fumble. Junior linebacker Christopher Jean chipped in five tackles, including one for loss. UPrep advances to the sectional semifinals to take on No. 3 seed Webster Schroeder.

Cameron McClinic and Jesse Reinhart both totaled two touchdowns to lead a balanced Batavia effort as the Blue Devils concluded the regular season with back-to-back wins. The senior quarterback wasted no time putting the team on the board with a 25-yard strike to Aidan Anderson four minutes into the match. Then Reinhart capped off a 21-point opening period with a one-yard keeper near the end of the quarter. The 6-foot-2 senior finished with 60 all-purpose yards, including 53 through the air. McClinic scored on two of his six carries in the first and second quarter on runs of 19 and 11 yards, respectively. The junior running back had 42 rushing yards. Junior wideout Javin McFollins displayed his spiral with a 46-yard touchdown to Vincent Arroyo. Carter McFollins registered a 49-yard pick-six. Senior linebacker Kaden Marucci led the defense with eight tackles. Arroyo and Mathew McWethy both contributed four tackles, including one for loss. McWethy picked off a pass as well.

Zachary Meacham and Brody Young both scored two touchdowns as Honeoye Falls-Lima completed back-to-back undefeated regular seasons. Meacham scored a rushing touchdown on offense and a scoop-and-score on defense. Young connected with Nolan Smith on a score and found paydirt from the line of scrimmage. Sophomore quarterback Matthew Meacham hit Griffin Mayo for a touchdown.

Carter Lathrop exploded for six touchdowns to lead East Rochester/Gananda to an undefeated regular season. The senior quarterback hit four different receivers for a touchdown: two for Miles Caviness and one for Chaunsey Gilbert, Manuel Sepulveda and Caleb Wilcox. Lathrop added a rushing score as well. Jeremy Blanchard and Michael Daniels both amassed eight tackles to lead the defense. Caleb Carpenter and Nicholas Ricci both collected seven tackles. Junior linebacker Hunter Groh chipped in six tackles, including a sack. Brayden Dohse and Jordan Richards both recovered a fumble.
LETCHWORTH/WARSAW/PERRY (4-4) 24

Nick Thompson’s 41-yard field goal with two seconds left lifted Letchworth/Warsaw/Perry in the regular season finale. Chris Shearing led with a rushing touchdown in the second and third quarter on runs of 12 and two yards, respectively. Overall, Shearing led with 169 all-purpose yards: 101 through the air and 68 on the ground. Bailey Schnell rounded out the scoring by putting the team on the board in the opening period. Schnell finished with 65 rushing yards. Schnell and Shearing both registered eight tackles to lead the defense. Shearing picked off a pass as well. Of Blaise Leone’s five tackles, two resulted in lost yardage and one was a sack. Carson Petrie and Devin Tisdale both had a tackle for loss. Ethan Schroder recorded an interception.
ALEXANDER (7-1) 10
CALEDONIA-MUMFORD/BYRON-BERGEN (3-5) 0
Nick Kramer accounted for the lone touchdown of the game as Alexander grinded out its fifth consecutive victory to conclude the regular season. The senior quarterback scored on a one-yard run in the final period to extend a 3-0 lead. Kramer led the offense with 77 rushing yards and the defense with eight tackles. Senior kicker Eric Cline connected on a 29-yard field goal in the third quarter. Jacob Laney and Richard Townley both had five tackles on defense. Townley picked off a pass. For Caledonia-Mumford/Byron-Bergen, Garrett Thompson accumulated 13 tackles on defense.
GENESEO/MOUNT MORRIS (4-4) 14
OAKFIELD-ALABAMA/ELBA (8-0) 58
Bodie Hyde led a ground-heavy attack with two rushing touchdowns plus a passing score as Oakfield-Alabama/Elba polished off an undefeated regular season. The sophomore quarterback only needed six carries to amass 112 rushing yards. Hyde connected with Connor Scott on a 68-yard touchdown as well. Senior running back Gaige Armbrewster accumulated 155 yards and found paydirt on two of his eight handoffs. Kameron Cusmano chipped in with five carries, 39 yards and a score. Senior defensive lineman Charles Gottler spearheaded the defense with 13 tackles, including four for a loss and a sack. Hyde compiled 10 tackles, including four resulting in lost yardage. Ethan Cramer and Cusmano both recorded nine tackles.

From the first whistle, they executed at a high level and that did not waiver during the course of the game. This was a good way for us to build some momentum heading into sectionals.”

Andrew Rowland totaled four touchdowns as Avon exploded for all 40 points in three quarters and concluded the regular season with back-to-back wins. The senior quarterback did all his scoring in the first three periods. Rowland started with a three-yard touchdown run in the first. Then the 6-foot senior heaved a 45-yard strike to Dylan Smith in the second quarter. Finally, Rowland rushed for a 14-yard touchdown and connected with William Greenwood on a 24-yard score in the third period. Overall, Rowland finished with 248 all-purpose yards: 177 on 11 completions and 71 more on 18 runs. Thomas Welch rounded out the scoring with touchdown runs of 12 and 21 yards, respectively. The senior running back ran wild, compiling 136 yards on 24 carries and two catches for 48 more. Adam Mariani led the defense with six tackles.

SOUTH SENECA/ROMULUS (0-6) 20
Kyle DaMore amassed five touchdowns to lead Red Jacket. The senior quarterback threw three touchdowns to Daltyn Hanline on passes of 20, seven and 47 yards respectively, and a 29-yard score to James Sibeto. DaMore added a 56-yard burst to the house as well as part of his 161 rushing yards. Senior running back Mason Pollot contributed two rushing touchdowns on pitches of four and 59 yards. Sophomore defensive back Matthew Allen led the defense with nine tackles, including four for loss and a sack. Hanline hauled in a pick. Micah Harschfield and Pollot both added a sack.

Collin Mehlenbacher amassed three touchdowns and a two-point conversion as Dansville/Wayland-Cohocton concluded the regular season with three straight wins. The senior running back only needed five carries to burst for 106 yards and two scores. Mehlenbacher took off for a 75-yard punt return touchdown as well. Ben Teed followed up with 90 yards and two touchdowns on nine handoffs. The senior running back led the defense with 10 tackles as well. Nickolas Belanger and Evan Pruonto connected on a 42-yard touchdown. Defensively, sophomore defensive back Nathaniel Gardner posted 10 tackles. Holdyn Freeman and Pruonto both contributed with six.
