C.J. Cammack and Eimaj Giddens provided all of Aquinas’ offense with two rushing touchdowns apiece to lead the L’il Irish to a 4-0 record. Giddens dominated on offense with 180 rushing yards and 19 receiving yards and on defense with six tackles and an interception. Cammack recorded 108 yards from the line of scrimmage on 15 carries. Senior linebacker Jahlil Johnson spearheaded the defense with 11 tackles, including two for loss, and two batted passes. Lucas Leone registered 10 tackles of his own.

Alexander Young displayed his dual threat ability with three rushing touchdowns and one passing score to lead Penfield to its first win of the season. The junior quarterback scrambled for 113 rushing yards on 22 carries and attacked Churchville-Chili’s pass rush with 101 yards on seven completions. Senior wideout Tai Reffell-Pugh was the beneficiary of Young’s touchdown among his two catches for 54 yards. Reffell-Pugh added four tackles and a pick-six on defense as well. Sophomore free safety Adam Schembri led the defense with seven tackles and an interception.

Camryn Higgins and Dion Mather both scored two touchdowns to lead East/World Of Inquiry to its second straight win. Mather led with 201 passing yards on 10-of-20 passing and two scores, including one to Higgins. Along with his six receptions for 90 yards, Higgins bullied his way to 78 yards on the ground via nine carries. Senior linebacker Toney Henton led the defense with eight and a half tackles, including two for loss, and an interception.
DANSVILLE/WAYLAND-COHOCTON (3-1) 28

Ben Teed scored two touchdowns on 31 total yards as part of a balanced Dansville/Wayland-Cohocton offense to help bounce back from a loss last Friday. The senior running back hauled in a 16-yard touchdown from Nickolas Belanger and found paydirt on one of his 13 carries which totaled 15 yards. Teed led the defense with eight tackles as well. Senior running back Evan Pruonto led the ground game with 94 rushing yards. Collin Mehlenbacher ignited special teams with a 55-yard punt return touchdown and added a rushing score. Senior defensive lineman Holdyn Freeman assisted the defense with six tackles, including one sack, and a blocked punt. Sophomore defensive back Nathaniel Gardner registered a sack among his three tackles.

Damond Clark unloaded on Newark/Marion’s defense for five rushing touchdowns to lead Wilson Magnet to its first win of the season. The sophomore running back amassed 261 yards on 19 carries. Junior defensive tackle Raejon Ridgeway led the defense with eight tackles, including four of the solo variety and two for loss. Daquon Herring followed up with six tackles, including two for loss and a sack.

Kyle DaMore accumulated four touchdowns to lead Red Jacket’s offensive outburst in a rematch of this past spring’s 8-Man sectional final. The senior quarterback rushed for a pair as part of his 112 yards on the ground and connected with Daltyn Hanline on two more on 46 and 44 yards, respectively. Hanline added seven tackles on defense as well. Parker Moore rushed into the end zone twice on runs of six and 27 yards, respectively, and had an interception on defense. Senior tight end Ethan Lenney chipped in a seven-yard rush touchdown. Sophomore defensive back Matthew Allen led the defense with eight tackles. Micah Harschfield recovered a fumble.
