It didn’t take long for Grace O’Hara to prove herself at the collegiate level.

Seeing her first action in conference play, the two-time Monroe County Division III Player of the Year netted a pair of goals to lead Sacred Heart University to a 2-0 win over Wagner in Northeast Conference (NEC) action. The effort earned O’Hara conference Rookie and Player of the Week as announced by the NEC.

O’Hara, who found back of the net 52 times during her career with Mendon, is tied for the NEC lead with four goals through seven games this season. Her three-game-winning goals rank 12th in the nation.
