The trio of Will Benjamin, Terrell Richards and Mykel White all scored three touchdowns to lead Aquinas to the win in an undefeated clash. Benjamin led with 192 rushing yards on 18 carries. The junior duo of Richards and White connected on three touchdowns. White only needed seven passes to accumulate 185 yards on five completions. Richards caught four of them and racked up 168 yards through the air. Senior linebacker Jahlil Johnson commanded the defense with 13 tackles, including four resulting in loss yardage, two sacks and a fumble recovery. Brandon Gamble registered 10 tackles.

Tyler Pucci nailed a go-ahead, 39-yard field goal and Robert Cameron snagged an interception with 42 seconds left to lift Fairport to its first win of the season. Cameron, Jackson Monte and Patrick Nobes all scored a touchdown. Monte had 10 carries for 85 yards while Nobes added 16 rushing yards on three attempts. Cameron’s touchdown was a 65-yard reception. Senior running back Joseph Giggie moved the chains with 108 yards on 25 carries. William Frank, Jr. led the defense with nine tackles and a pass deflection.

Senior quarterback Brennan Clasgens collected 81 rushing yards and a pair of touchdowns from the line of scrimmage to lead Brighton to the win in an undefeated matchup. Tahj Jackson bullied his way to 178 yards and a score on 18 handoffs. Elijah Lamonaco led the defense with seven tackles and a forced fumble.

Kaleb Juliano rumbled for a pair of touchdowns as Webster Schroeder scored all of its points in the first half en route to a shutout victory. The senior running back burst through the line of scrimmage into the end zone a minute and a half into the contest. Then Juliano found paydirt with nine seconds remaining in the half. Senior quarterback Alex DeRosa connected with Nathan DeMay at the back of the end zone to round out the scoring for the Warriors.

Mason Blakenberg totaled three touchdowns as Wayne held on for a road victory in a matchup between undefeated squads. The senior quarterback hurled 150 yards and two touchdowns through the air and scrambled for 38 more yards and a score on the ground. Devon Forrest caught both of Blakenberg’s touchdown passes as he finished with three receptions and 46 yards. The senior tight end led the defense with five solo tackles, including three for a loss, three sacks and two passes knocked down. Junior running back Dylan Vance accumulated 31 carries, 167 rushing yards and a pair of scores from the line of scrimmage.

Kellen Foster exploded for 207 rushing yards and four touchdowns to lead Newark/Marion to its first win of the season. The sophomore running back’s scores came on runs of 11, 55, nine and four yards, respectively. Foster scored three of his four touchdowns in the third quarter and the other in the second as well. Senior quarterback Zachary Mallette added 73 yards on the ground. For Palmyra-Macedon, senior fullback Ivan Reynolds-Diaz broke the shutout with a receiving touchdown.

Damien Hall and Justin Yehl both recorded two touchdowns as Bath-Haverling scored with 40 seconds remaining to rebound from a loss last week. Yehl picked apart Penn Yan/Dundee’s defense, completing 22-of-26 passes for 293 yards. Hall carried 16 times for 73 yards and added a pair of two-point conversions. Senior wide receiver AJ Brotz hauled in five catches for 109 yards and a touchdown and racked up 25 more on the ground along with a two-point conversion. Hall led the defense with seven tackles. Brotz picked off a pass and Austin Thorius registered a sack and tackle for a loss. For Penn Yan/Dundee, junior quarterback Carter Earl aired the ball out for 229 passing yards and connected with Nick Slavick for a touchdown. Slavick reeled in five balls and compiled 105 yards and rushed for 40 yards and another score as well. Junior running back Kaden Labar added a rushing touchdown of his own and led the defense with 10 tackles and two sacks. Jon Bell recorded 10 tackles as well along with a sack. Alexander Foster and Gabriel Hopkins both contributed five tackles. Foster recovered a fumble while Hopkins had a sack.

Adam Risewick scored a pair of touchdowns to lead a balanced Le Roy offense as the Knights rebounded from a loss last week. The senior wide receiver hauled in a touchdown from John Panepento as part of his two catches for 50 yards and took a punt return 60 yards to the house. Brock Flint, Jack Lathan and Drew Strollo all scored a touchdown. Strollo led with 100 rushing yards on 18 carries. Flint gained 74 yards on eight attempts. Along with his two tackles, Lathan added a scoop-and-score. Tony Piazza led the defense with five tackles. Tyler Strollo followed up with four.

Andrew Rowland rushed for a score and threw a touchdown pass to lead Avon to a road win in a rematch of this past spring’s Class D sectional final. Both of the senior quarterback’s touchdowns gave the Braves the lead and came in the second quarter. First, Rowland snuck into the end zone from two yards out for a 6-3 edge. Then, the 6-foot senior connected with Michael Rowland on a 23-yard touchdown for a 12-10 lead the Braves wouldn’t relinquish. Overall, Rowland completed 17-of-23 passes for 202 yards and picked up 34 more on the ground via 10 carries. The senior quarterback led the defense with seven tackles and an interception as well. Michael Rowland recorded seven tackles of his own, including one for loss. Shane Ellsworth and Dylan Smith both had two and a half tackles, including one and a half for loss. For Alexander, Eric Cline nailed a 39-yard field goal and Nick Kramer punched in a one-yard touchdown. Senior running back Brayden Woods led the overall offense with 132 rushing yards.

For York/Pavilion, Carl Szczech led with 19 carries and 72 yards. Maverick Coffey had a team-high 11 tackles, including one for loss.

On offense, Carl Szcech ran hard and had a really solid game in his first start for us on the Varsity level. We’re excited to see what he can continue to do for us moving forward. Lastly, we Ryan Jaroszek return to action tonight. He’s a big part of our line and defense that had been out Weeks One and Two and we’re looking forward to getting that line up front back together again for the first time in a while. Obviously, we have lots of things to improve on, accept that challenge and look forward to the opportunity to get better next week.”

De’marion Mewborn accounted for all of Gates-Chili’s scoring with four touchdowns to lead the Spartans to their first win of the season. The senior running back found paydirt on runs of 19, five, two and 42 yards, respectively. Mewborn scored two of his four touchdowns in the final period as well to secure the victory. Overall, the 5-foot-7 senior ignited the Spartans’ offense with 300 rushing yards on 35 carries and 13 receiving yards on two catches. Sophomore linebacker Ill Young Winston led the defense with six and a half tackles. Will Means followed up with four and a half, including one and a half for loss and a sack. Junior defensive back Josiah Lane picked off a pass.

Gaige Armbrewster led an Oakfield-Alabama/Elba team which accumulated 589 rushing yards with 113 of his own plus three scores as the Aggies poured on 60-plus points for the second straight game. Noah Currier galloped for a team-high 149 rushing yards and two touchdowns on only six carries. Jayden Allport, Connor Scott and Aiden Warner all added a rushing touchdown. Brayden Smith led the defense with six tackles, including two for a loss, and three takeaways: a pair of interceptions and a scoop-and-score. Allport and Kaden Cusmano both picked off a pass as well.
