Tommy DiFranco (Penfield) connected on a two-out RBI single in the top of the seventh to cap a late-inning rally as DI Red erased a five-run deficit to stay undefeated. DiFranco plated Parker Goodness with his third hit of the week. Trailing 7-4, Ben Kazel (Brighton) led the inning with his second hit of the game. After Kazel moved 90 feet on a passed ball, Parker Drees (Greece Arcadia) made it a 7-5 game with an RBI single. Parker Goodness (Greece Athena) put runners on the corners with a base hit, and Conor Forkey (Fairport) kept the rally moving with an RBI single. Two outs later, DiFranco brought home Goodness.

Steven Kraus (Hilton) plated Zachary Harnischfeger (Greece Athena) with a two-out triple in the sixth to make it a 7-4 game. Kraus also hurled three innings in relief including the last two scoreless to keep Red within striking distance. The right-hander struck out three and walked one. Goodness finished 2-for-3 with two RBI. Drees scored twice. Dominick Zona singled and scored a run. Patrick Altpeter (Aquinas) also scored a run.

Jack Cannon (Webster Schroeder) started and threw four no-hit innings for DI Gold. The left-hander faced 14 batters, struck out six, walked two and allowed just one ball out of the infield. After issuing a walk to start the game, he set down eight of the next nine he faced. Cannon went 2-for-4 at the plate with two runs scored. Cooper Bates was 2-for-3 with three RBI including a two-run double in the fifth that helped Gold to a 7-2 lead.

Sammy Saucke (Greece Athena) walked twice, drove in a run with a single and also scored once. Matt Tallini (Greece Athena) walked twice and scored. Ian Fleck (McQuaid Jesuit) collected a single, walk, RBI and a run scored. Josh Winter (Spencerport) added a run.

Mason Haarr (Brockport) and Brian Nassivera (Greece Arcadia) combined on a one-hitter to lead DI Blue. Haarr started and struck out 10 over five innings of work. The right-hander faced the minimum in the third and retired six of the last seven he faced while allowing just one ball out of the infield over the extent of his outing. Nassivera fanned two and walked one over two innings of work.

Haarr finished 4-for-4 at the plate with four RBI and two runs scored. He gave Blue a lead it did not surrender with a one-out double in the first inning. Moving with the pitch, Nate Hill scored from first on Haarr’s two-bagger to right center.
Donovan Wallace (Greece Athena) went 2-for-4 with three RBI and a run scored. Hill scored two runs in the game. Brian Bucenec (Fairport) singled, walked and scored two runs. Caleb Wilson (Aquinas) singled, walked and scored a run. Charlie Sim (Williamsville South) singled, scored and drove in a run with a sacrifice fly. Jack Salerno reached base three times and scored once.

Liam Eshelman (Victor) broke up the no-hit bid with a leadoff single in the seventh. Tommy Derleth (Fairport) worked two walks. Ryan Grasley, Joe Conroy (Northstar Christian) and Brody Hatfield (York) collected a walk apiece.
