Jordan Maher (SUNY Fredonia) finished 3-for-3 and scored the go-ahead run in the fifth inning as the Ducks rattled off six unanswered to close their regular season with a win. Maher worked a leadoff walk to start the fifth and eventually scored on a wild pitch to snap a three-all tie. The Ducks third baseman added an RBI single one inning later as part of a three-run frame. DJ Stoianovich hurled five shutout innings in relief . The right-hander struck out seven, walked three and held the Blue Jays to one hit. Stoianovich retired the first 11 batters he faced before giving up a two-out single in the sixth inning. Devin Hicks and Kenny Murphy (Finger Lakes CC) both finished 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored in the win. Hicks had two doubles in the game. Zach Morrison (Finger Lakes CC) doubled, drove in two runs and scored another. Hayden Smith doubled and scored a run.
Michael Beimel (St. John Fisher) went 1-for-2 with a double and two RBI as the Blue Jays jumped to a 3-1 lead heading into the third. Tyler Curtis (Finger Lakes CC) and Nolan Hicks both singled and scored a run. Brian Oddi, Jr. singled and drove in a run. Tim McClare (Finger Lakes CC) walked twice and scored a run.
