The Class C2 Sectional Championship will be decided between a squad from Livingston County and a team from Allegany County. The Golden Knights and the Wolverines will square off on Tuesday. Here is the breakdown:

How they got here: York beat No. 14 South Seneca/Romulus, 7-4, in the pre-quarterfinals and defeated No. 6 Naples, 6-4, in the quarterfinals before downing seventh-seeded Harley-Allendale-Columbia, 8-0, in the semis.
Bolivar-Richburg defeated No. 13 Byron-Bergen, 5-0, in the pre-quarterfinals, beat Letchworth by a 8-1 score in the quarterfinals and took down Campbell-Savona, 4-0, in the semis.

History 101: York as not reached a sectional title game since 2011 and is looking for its first title in over a decade. Bolivar-RIchburg is making its second-straight sectional final appearance. The Wolverines defeated Lyndoville, 1-0, for the Class C2 title in 2019. Bolivar-RIchburg has won four sectional titles in the past decade. The Wolverines won in 2019, 2016, 2014, and 2013.
