The Regals cut the lead to 9-4 in the first half before the Cougars went on a 4-1 run heading into the break.

It was the first meeting between the teams, since this is the first season Newark and Midlakes have had a combined team.

HF-L finishes the season winners of four of their last six games and finishes with a 9-9 record.
