Edward Hall and Wilson Brauer combined for a five-hit shutout to lead McQuaid to its fifth win in its last six games. Hall started and hurled the first six innings; the junior struck out three while allowing five hits and four walks. Brauer struck out two as he closed out the game with a perfect seventh inning. The Knights got on the board with a run in the first behind an error. McQuaid extended its lead to 2-0 in the third inning when Aiden Stewart drove in Jack Beauchamp with a sacrifice fly. The Knights added two insurance runs in the seventh with an RBI single from Tanner Degrazia and an error. For Irondequoit, Joe Wintermute led the Eagles with a team-high two hits. Jaleel Davis, Brody Froman, and Nick Calarco all collected a hit.

Alex Minnehan collected his 100th career hit with an RBI single that plated the gamed-inning run in the fifth inning. Livonia scored both runs in the fifth, Troy Galbraith scored one on a ground ball and Minnehan plated pinch runner Jake Watkins to take the lead. Minnehan pitched a complete game striking out nine and allowing just three hits. Jeremiah Havens drove in the lone run for Wellsville in the seventh with a double. Havens attempted to tie the game on an overthrow to a cutoff but was caught at home when catcher Alex Benitez fired the ball to Minnehan for the tag. Robbie Stewart went 2-for-3, and Conner Benitez finished the game 2-for-3 and a run scored.

Eric Sandle walked it off in the eighth inning with a single which moved Bloomfield two games over .500. Sandle drove in Declan Smith for the winning run. Cal Rogers started the inning with a double, and went 4-for-4. Gabe Ward struck out five and allowed one run in five and two-thirds for Bloomfield. Aiden Rogers collected two hits. Max Ryan led Naples with three RBI including a single and a home run. Ben Green added a double and single to go along with an RBI, and Jackson Brahm recorded two singles.

Jack Wheeler earned the win on the mound and helped himself at the plate which led Harley-Allendale-Columbia to its fourth win of the season. Wheeler struck out nine in his first three innings, and finished with 11. The senior had an RBI single in the first inning and scored twice. Spencer Dworkin struck out two in the seventh to close the game. Alex Sassaman drove in three with a bases-clearing triple in the five-run fourth inning. Asose Kelley drove a run in the fourth as well. Jose Marrero, Marlin Bassett, and Morgan Fowler all reached home twice. Jon Lloyd led Marcus Whitman with a two-run double, and Carson Miller added a double alongside an RBI and a run scored.

Addison handed Avoca/Prattsburgh its first loss behind a three-run fifth inning. Dakota Herringta got the inning started with a single, and then stole second base. Herringta scored on an error on a ball that Bryce Krinner put in play, and Krinner came around to score. Tommy Hargrove drove in two with a single to cap off the inning. Bradyn Coletta struck out 155 Avoca/Prattsburgh batters to earn the win on the mound. Coletta recorded one hit, and Trent Watson had an RBI and a run scored. For Avoca/Prattsburgh, Sawyer Devoe led the Vikings with a team-high two hits. Caleb Clements struck out nine on the mound alongside an RBI and one hit.

Alexander used a 10-run third inning to win its second straight game. Hunter Fletcher got the inning started with a single, after Fletcher stole second, and Nolan Quacknbush drove him in with a single. Joey Donnelly plated Quacknbush with a single of his own two at-bats later. Alexander scored eight more runs on two walks, three errors, and another Quacknbush single. Quacknbush finished the game 2-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored. Gunnar Kania started on the mound for the trojans and pitched three innings. The junior allowed four runs (three earned) on one hit and three walks while striking out three. Jake Lanney hurled two innings in relief, and Quacknbush pitched a shutout sixth inning. Fletcher went 3-for-5 with three runs scored, Donelly ended 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored, Josh Merrill drove in two runs and scored twice on one hit. Lanney, Jackson Staba, and Ben Merrill all scored twice. Connor Scott collected both of Elba’s hits in the game. Angelo Penna and Andrew Hare both picked up an RBI.

Jake Jansinski delivered a walk-off double which lifted Honeoye to its second straight victory. The senior came through in a two-strike, two-out situation for the Bulldogs after Dundee/Bradford took the lead in the top half of the inning. Charlie Farrell went 2-for-4 with two RBI, and Logan Thomas received credit for the win on the mound. For Dundee/Bradford, Max Bailey went 4-for-5 and Shane DeChamp went 3-for-5.

A six-run second inning proved to be the difference as the Webster Thomas softball team defeated Our Lady of Mercy, 13-5 on Thursday afternoon. Alanna Cavicchioli brought home the first two runs with a double to center that scored Emma Bello and Mary Marrapese.
