Between seven innings and 47 at-bats, not one player could scrape a hit in the contest for either side. The lone run was scored by pitcher CJ Mangone on a wild pitch in the bottom of the first. Mangone tossed four innings, struck out seven and walked two on 71 pitches. Channing Owens threw three innings of relief and set down three while walking one. For Northstar, Gage Wheaton struck out 11 and walked six in five and two-thirds innings.

Logan Thomas threw a complete game for Honeoye. Charlie Farrell spearheaded the offense, going 3-for-3 with three RBI. Thomas also went 3-for-3 and Cam Allison finished 3-for-4 with two RBI. For Naples, Ben Green smacked a two-run homerun.

Athena grabbed the lead in the sixth and fended off a threatening Brockport seventh to pull away with its third straight victory. TJ Kurtz opened the bottom half of the sixth with a single and scored on a Zandyr Meakin two-out single to take the lead. Brockport responded with a leadoff walk, sac bunt and a double from Ryan Judd to put a man at third and second with one out. A failed steal of home cost Brockport its second out and Athena’s pitcher, Vic Alongi set down the final batter on strikes to earn the save and victory. Alongi threw all seven and finished with six hits against, five strikeouts and a walk. All three runs came unearned. Tyler Henshaw also went the distance for the Blue Devils, striking out eight and walking one in the process. Athena’s Connor Osier went two-for-three with a solo shot to center in the second inning. Kurtz followed with a double, run scored and two RBI on the day. Evan Smith, Jaden Madrid and Alongi all registered a hit for the Trojans. For Brockport, Finn Harvey registered a double, run, RBI and walk. Ed Guerrero and Nick Johnson each tallied a hit and RBI. Cooper Hassall also had a hit for the Blue Devils.

Jack Josephson tossed six innings of shutout ball to ensure Penfield’s minuscule lead was enough for the win. The senior used 73 pitches to work through 22 at-bats. He struck out four and allowed four hits in the process. With two runners on and no outs in the seventh, Gage Ziehl shutdown the comeback attempt with three straight outs, two coming via strikes. Dom Porto led the lineup with two hits in three attempts, a RBI and a walk. Robbie Wing and Nate Sobko both touched home in the sixth to give Penfield the 2-0 lead. Each finished with a run scored and hit in the contest. Matt Mady, Tommy DiFranco and Brady Ventura collected a hit apiece for the Patriots. DiFranco singled in the first run in the sixth before Porto added the cushion.

Nine different batters registered a hit in Penfield’s second of two wins over Victor on the day. Nick Ianniello led the charge going a perfect 2-for-2 with a walk, run scored and RBI. Dom Porto, Nate Sobko and Brady Ventura each registered a double and RBI. Andrew Olson had a hit, RBI and run scored while Peyton Pace had a hit and run scored as well. Gage Ziehl managed to cross home twice after reaching via a single and walk. Robbie Wing finished with a run and RBI despite going 0-for-1 with a walk. Matt Mady scored twice, walked twice and had a hit. Zach Kaper also drove in a run on a base hit for the Patriots. On the bump Pace went six innings, gave up zero runs on four hits, a walk and five strikeouts. Tommy DiFranco sealed the game with two strikeouts, an unearned run and two hits in the final frame of play.

Bases loaded, tied at three with one out, Irondequoit’s Brian Tisa elevated a pitch far enough to drive home the Jaleel Davis in walk-off fashion. Brody Froman led the Irondequoit offense with three hits in four at-bats and a run scored. Connor Gresens tallied two hits and two RBI while Davis managed two hits and two runs scored. Nick Calarco finished with a hit and Sam Lessard accrued a RBI for the Eagles as well. Carter Clark was the only Hilton batter to have multiple hits, finishing 2-for-2 with a run scored and a walk. Tyler Cerame singled in the game-tying run after Jeremiah Scarpulla reached second on a two-out double in the seventh. James Capellupo and Preston Prince accounted for the two other RBI for Hilton. Luke Schofield and Michael Whelehan each finished with a hit. Irondequoit’s starter Joe Wintermute threw five and a third innings, allowed six hits, gave up two runs and struck out three. Connor Springer closed out the contest with one earned run, a strikeout and two hits against to earn the save. Clark tossed five innings and gave up one earned run on seven hits, two walks and two strikeouts for Hilton. Drew Bateman closed out the final two innings with two hits, two strikeouts and one run scored.

Eastridge grabbed its first win of the season using five no-hit innings from Chad Perkins. Tom Bareham and Evan Vinci split six RBI in the winning effort.

Michael Salina and Mathew Sanfilippo combined for four RBI to help Webster Schroeder overtake Spencerport at home. Freshman Frank Grad went 3-for-4 with a double, RBI and run scored for Spencerport.

Daniel Mariani tossed a complete game three-hitter to propel Mendon over Brighton for its fourth straight victory. Mariani gave up zero earned runs while striking out seven and walking two in 101 pitches. Mendon broke the game open in the bottom of the fourth after three straight singles from Brady Miller, Daniel Palumbo and Eric Krowl. All three circled the bases along with Gines on a wild pitch to push the lead to four. Miller, Palumbo and Krowl each finished with two hits. Krowl added two RBI and Miller two runs scored. Tommy Petrichick contributed a hit and RBI for Pittsford. Brendan Kane also had a hit as well. In its first regular season matchup, Brighton only saw three players reach base. Knapp collected two hits in three at-bats. Mark scored once on two walks and Pincus had a hit in his only plate appearance. McPherson relieved Cameau in the fourth and struck out seven, gave up two hits and a walk to cool 0ff the Vikings bats.

Tommy Rebis, Ty VanEpps and Chris Coriano combined for seven RBI and seven hits to lead Olympia/Odyssey over Arcadia. VanEpps handed the Griffins a lead it would not concede in the first on a two-run triple. He finished 2-for-4 with three RBI and two runs scored. Rebis collected two doubles, a RBI and three runs in four at-bats. Coriano went 2-for-2 with a walk, three RBI and a run scored. By the end of the third inning, the Griffins maintained a 9-0 lead. Nolan Krautwurst worked three walks and came around to score every time for Olympia/Odyssey. Blake Bebout notched two hits and a run. Will Wetmore had two hits and two RBI while Dominic Braun and Tyson Roundtree had a hit, run and RBI on the day. Derek Laemlein was given the start for the Griffins and went four innings of five-hit ball. He struck out six, walked three and gave up one earned run. Krautwurst relieved for two innings, struck out four and gave up a hit on 28 pitches. James Schlueter tossed the final inning and gave up a run on two hits with two punchouts. For Arcadia, Jake Tsymbal went a perfect 4-for-4 on the day with a run scored and RBI. Succeeding him in the order, Tyler Reichert followed up with a hit and two runs. Aiden Candelaria, Aiden Postema and Parker Drees each posted a hit in the losing effort.
