LaValley earns Empire 8 honor

Starting his collegiate career leading Nazareth College to a 3-0 win,  Cooper LaValley (Greece Arcadia) earned Empire 8 Offensive Player of the Week (March 15-21). 

LaValley found back of the net twice in the Golden Flyers’ 3-0 win over Alfred. 

LaValley scored 16 goals and added two assists to earn 2019 First Team All-County honors his senior year at Arcadia. 

LaValley’s teammate, Trevor Clark (Fillmore), was named conference Defensive Player of the Week. 

Also earning Empire 8 honors: 

Leah Tolley (Pittsford Mendon) – Field Hockey Offensive Player of the Week. 

Lauren Begy (Aquinas) – Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.

Kyle Rollins (Geneseo) – Men’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week
