Mason Blakenberg nailed a go-ahead jumper with 7.8 seconds remaining to lift Wayne to an undefeated season and its third sectional title in five years. The junior guard scored six of the Eagles’ 10 fourth-quarter points to finish with a game-high 23. Blakenberg netted 13 points in the first half and eight of his 10 made field goals from inside the arc. Tyler Reynolds had 10 of his 18 points in the third quarter as the Eagles outscored Batavia, 16-13. For Batavia, senior center Stone Siverling made eight shots and 5-of-5 free throws for 21 points. Zach Gilebarto knocked down three long-range shots as part of his 18 points. Senior guard Luke Rogers hit four bombs for 12 points. Turner Harris converted a pair of go-ahead free throws with one second remaining to lift Northstar Christian to its fourth sectional title in six years. Overall, Harris exploded for 37 points and five rebounds. He scored 10 in the first quarter, nine in the second, seven in the third and 11 in the fourth. Junior guard Ryan Garwood scored 12 points and dished out seven assists. David Gucker netted seven points and grabbed 10 boards. For Mynderse, Nick Jones and Troy Kabat both scored 17 points. Kabat knocked down five three-pointers and Jones made eight field goals inside the arc. Senior guard Jared King netted 15 points in three quarters. Junior forward Mike Bogart chipped in 11 points. Kris Johnson reached the milestone of 1,000 Varsity points while leading Avoca/Prattsburgh to the sectional title in the inaugural year of the schools combining teams. In the last game of his four-year high school career, the senior forward poured in 29 points and corralled 11 rebounds. Johnson scored eight points in the first quarter, six in the second, five in the third and 10 in the fourth. The 6-foot-2 forward netted three long-range shots as well. James Crowder accumulated 18 of his 20 points in the second half while grabbing seven boards and handing out four assists. The senior forward made eight field goals and 4-of-4 free throws. Henry Devoe chipped in all 10 of his points in the first half. Sophomore forward Sawyer Devoe finished just shy of a double-double with nine points and 12 boards. Junior guard Pacey Hopkins stuffed the stat sheet with seven points, 10 rebounds, six steals and five assists. Freshman guard Macoy Putnam contributed four points, 10 assists and seven rebounds. For Notre Dame Batavia, sophomore forward Jimmy Fanara made seven of his eight shots inside the arc as part of his 19 points. Junior guard Colin McCulley scored all 17 of his points after the opening period. Senior guard Mark Sanders netted 14 of his 16 points in the first three quarters. Ryan Fitzpatrick (7), Owen Mileham (2), Jordan Welker (2) and Anthony Zambito (1) rounded out the scoring for the Fighting Irish.

York ended Pavilion’s undefeated season and won the sectional title in a duel between division rivals. For Pavilion, sophomore guard Karlee Zinkievich led with 17 points. Lauren Kingsley followed up with 16. Emily Kingsley (6), Shea Amberger (4), Kodi Beehler (3) and Adeline Milligan (3) rounded out the scoring for the Lady Golden Gophers.
