Phil Ferranti (Webster Schroeder/Monroe CC) homered and doubled as Mercyhurst University swept a doubleheader at Salem on Sunday.
Ferranti connected on a sixth-inning solo shot for his first round-tripper of the year. He finished 2-for-4 in the game.
The senior has collected six hits including two doubles along with four RBI and four runs scored.
Mercyhurst improved to 3-1 with the wins. The Lakers rank fifth in the NCBWA Atlantic Region Poll.
