Jason Gibbs scored nine of his game-high 29 points in the fourth quarter and added another three to lead Churchville-Chili. The sophomore grabbed 11 rebounds for the double-double and handed out four assists. Gibbs connected 11 times from the floor, all via lay-up. Robert Munding added 17 points in the win including six in the extra period. Davian Pride had 11 points, and McAndrew Bean chipped in six. Gideon Todd (3), Colin Curley (2), Amir Thomas (2) and Joaquon Thomas, Jr. (2) also contributed for the Saints. Aidan Lazenby led Brighton with 22 points. Troy McPherson connected three times from behind the 3-point arc and finished with 15 points for the Bruins. Nathan Martin had 14. Senior Adam Williams recorded a 20-point double-double in the third straight Gates-Chili win. Williams finished with 21 points and 15 rebounds on 9-of-15 shooting including three makes beyond the arc. Devon Payton led Gates-Chili in points with 26 alongside five rebounds, three assists, and four steals. Payton scored 20 of his 26 points in the second half. Other scorers – Gates-Chili: Kobe McCray (10), Andrew Newcombe (8), and Cameron Brown (2). Captain Jack McDonald had a team-high 28 points for Fairport including seven in the fourth quarter. Alex Hill finished with 12 points and scored at least on bucket in all five quarters of play. York had a season-high 37 points in the first quarter behind 14 from James Kennedy. Kennedy finished with 16 with all of them coming in the first half. Maddox Timothy added 15 points while making three three-pointers. York outscored Mount Morris by nine points or more in each quarter. York also finished with 15 made three’s. Evan Raniewicz and Caledonia-Mumford jumped out to an early 23-12 lead and never looked back. Raniewicz ended with a game-high 18 points alongside seven rebounds and five assists. Kyle Wade stuffed the stat sheet with 17 points, seven assists, seven rebounds, and six steals. Nate Howard recorded a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Caledonia-Mumford played with intensity and got out into transition and scored easy buckets. Other scorers – Caledonia-Mumford: Mark Poles-Harrison (8), and Mason Nusbickel (7). Canisteo-Greenwood led 23-1 after the first quarter behind an 11 point quarter from freshman Lillian Mullen. Mullen finished with a gam-high 24 points. Savannah Amburski followed up Mullen’s performance with 19 of her own. Amburski had at least four in every quarter with seven in the fourth quarter. This was the second time that Canisteo-Greenwood has scored over 70 points this season. Other scorers – Canisteo-Greenwood: Elaine Roach (10), Brooke Burd (8), Ashley Allen (7), Martine Buijs (3), and Destiny Reese (2). Braxton Elliot led the struggling Campbell/Savona offense with six points. Tiana Hayner, Cierra Machuga, and Natalie Drumm all score two points. Karissa Champion and Ashlyn Strathon each had one.
