Preston Prince moved up from junior varsity and was a key contributor on a Hilton squad which tallied 12 victories this season. The 6-foot-1 sophomore averaged 5.3 points, 3.1 assists and 2.5 rebounds in 25 minutes per game.
Prince scored 100 points, dished out 66 assists, swiped 18 steals while he collected 15 deflections and took 12 charges across 19 contests played.
Standout performances by the sophomore guard this season included seven points and six assists on December 11th in a 66-65 win over Webster Thomas, seven assists and one turnover twice (January 25th at Olean of Section VI and February 5th in a 79-57 win over Gates-Chili) and nine points on February 15th against Fairport.
With the graduation of seven seniors including leading scorer Tah-Jae Hill, Prince will have a more prominent role on the Cadets next season.
