Travis Knicley and Robbie Crowley combined for five points to lead Fairport to its fifth consecutive win. The Red Raiders held a 3-0 advantage going into the third period using two goals from Knicley and Sam Hoyen’s ninth of the year. Early in the third, Pittsford managed to trim the deficit to one after Brian Judge scored two goals, a minute and a half apart. For the remainder of the period, Fairport held the Panthers scoreless and eventually doubled the lead on an empty-net tally from Ryan Klice. 16 seconds later, Crowley added another to close out the game. Zach Steidle turned away 16-of-18 shots for his fourth win of the year and his second of the season against Pittsford. Caleb Kaiser and Crowley added two assists while Colin Herington, Nick Krug and Sam Hoyen each finished with one apiece. For Pittsford, Will Masaschi assisted on both of Judge’s goals and Alex Tidd made 16 saves on 20 shots in the loss. Brady Wambach and Gunnar VanDamme each collected one assist apiece for the Panthers as well.

Trailing 2-0 after the first period, six different players found the back of the net for Aquinas to propel the team to its first win in 14 games. Christian Mangone sparked the comeback with back-to-back goals in the second period to tie the game at two. With under 30 seconds to go in the second, Mangone assisted on the go-ahead, power-play tally from Kevin Howse. The duo led the team in points as Mangone finished with four points (2G, 2A) and Kevin Howse followed with three (1G, 2A). In the third, Isea Mohammed and Josh Gimeli scored their second goals of the year while Blake Greene and Joey Chinappi registered their firsts to push Aquinas’ lead to four. Connor Mangone earned two assists, Bryce Schaubroeck collected one and Mohammed finished with one as well for the Little Irish. Senior goaltender Lenny Perno stopped 32-of-34 shots faced for his second victory of the year. For Rush-Henrietta/SOTA, Nick Cowie scored his 21st and Dominic Faggiano capitalized on the power-play to give the Royal Comets an early first period lead. Jordan Coleman and Mikey Valent earned assists on Cowie’s goal, 42 seconds in.

With five goals and two assists, AJ Giannavola led Spencerport to its ninth straight victory as seven players contributed multiple points. Giannavola registered two tallies in the first period and three in the third as part of five unanswered from Spencerport to close out the game. He now leads all of Section V Hockey in scoring with 35 goals and 62 total points. Joey Cuzzupoli was the only other Ranger to find the back of the net twice while Luc Fedele, Jason Uebelacker, Mark Neu and Chris Hammerle all scored once. Neu (5), Uebelacker (4), Fedele (3), Ryan Plouffe (2), Alex Cappuccio (1), Cuzzupoli (1), Andrew Simoncelli (1), and Spencer Odell (1) all collected assists in Spencerport’s third game of 10 goals or more. For Genesee, Derrick Fedus, Andres Mateos, Sean Pies and Vincent DiRisio all scored once in the first two periods to keep the score close. In the third, DiRisio was the only Ice Devil to find the back of the net as Spencerport erupted for six tallies. DiRisio finished with three points (2G, 1A), Pies finished with two (1G, 1A) and Fedus with two as well (1G, 1A). Gavin Schrader and Chase Pangrazio earned an assist apiece for Genesee. Trevor Wiesner made 19 saves on 24 shots in the winning effort while Ian Kemp stopped 36-of-47 shots for Genesee.

Webster Thomas took a 2-1 lead in the first period and never looked back to turn in its second win in five games. Kevin Gabalski opened scoring on the power-play for the Titans, five minutes into the first. A minute after Gabalski’s tally, McQuaid’s Luke Masaschi tied the game on the man-advantage using passes from Denis Brown and Giuseppe Fiorillo. Tied 1-1, Liam Forsyth was credited with the game-winner at the 11:28 mark in the first period after scoring his ninth of the season. Connelly Springer made 17 saves in the victory, two less than his shutout against McQuaid earlier in the year. David Battisti stopped 27-of-29 shots for the Knights.

Dylan Clark scored twice and Ethan Breton stopped all 13 shots faced to give Churchville-Chili its fifth win in seven games. In the first period, Louie Moretto scored his first of the year and Mitchell Marsh notched his team leading 11th goal to put the Saints up 2-0. After assisting on Clark’s first of the night 30 seconds prior, Ryan Jong tallied his ninth of the season to double the lead. Clark eventually capped off scoring in the third on touches from Cade Costanzo and Mitchell Marsh. The two juniors finished with two assists apiece while Adam Polito and Luke Molnar each added one as well. The victory is Breton’s fourth of the year and his second in his last four games. The junior netminder has a record of 12-5-1 with a 2.33 goals-against-average.

Eli Velepec broke the 2-2 tie with three minutes remaining in the third to propel Irondequoit to its eighth win in nine games. On a feed from Jon Keyes, Velepec opened scoring for the Eagles five minutes into the first period. Leo Letta doubled the lead to start the second, but Matt Yager’s ninth of the year kept the deficit at one to begin the third. One minute into the final period, Jude Cole netted his 22nd of the year on the power-play to tie the game. Keyes assisted on each of Irondequoit’s three goals, Jordan Flynn and Matthew McCulloch both earned a helper and Vaughn Letta stopped 16-of-18 shots for the Eagles. Gus Landt and Huck Thayer picked up an assist apiece while Madeline Eaton turned away 21-of-24 shots for the Barons.
