Eight different players collected multiple points for Spencerport as the team scored four unanswered to pick up its seventh straight win. After giving up its 2-0 lead to start the second, Joey Cuzzupoli helped Spencerport regain the lead with his fifth tally of the season. Jason Uebelacker, Ryan Plouffe and Andrew Simoncelli each found the back of the net in the third to put the game out of reach for the Spartans. Luc Fedele and Uebelacker were responsible for the 2-0 Spencerport lead late in the first. Gates-Chili’s John Reagan and Ethan Knauf tied the game with a power-play and short-handed goal, respectively. Chris Hammerle, Mark Neu, AJ Giannavola, Cuzzupoli and Fedele all finished with two assists while Plouffe and Simonceli added one apiece for the Rangers. Rachel Brase also made 14 saves on 16 shots for her eighth win of the year. For the Spartans, Charles Healey made 17 stops in net while Trevor Schmidt and Knauf collected an assist each.

WEBSTER THOMAS (13-2-1) 1
Jack McCandless scored twice in the third period to suppress Webster Thomas and propel Victor to its eighth consecutive victory. McCandless netted the go-ahead goal two minutes after Webster Thomas’s Cullen Hennessy tied the game at one. The senior then scored his 15th of the season on an empty net to end the possibility of a Titan comeback. In the second period, Sam Bresson gave Victor its first lead on the power-play. Nick Peluso and Andrew Haugh collected assists on the play. Bresson also added an assist on McCandless’ first goal of the night. Pieter Bartelse stopped 13-of-14 shots for the Blue Devils and Connelly Springer saved 13-of-15 for Webster Thomas.

Nine players scored and 14 registered points to lead Pittsford to its second win in five games. With a 3-1 lead entering the second period, the Panthers exploded for seven goals to take a commanding lead over the Greece Storm. CJ Penkitis and Brian Judge led Pittsford scoring with two goals each. Lucas Procious, Colin Norton, Will Masaschi, Brecken Catalano, Ronin VanDamme, Brady Wambach and Shawn Alexander all found the back of the net once. Theo Krauss made 18 saves on 20 shots for his first win of the year. Gunnar VanDamme (4), Max Aeroesty (2), Aidan Kluge (2), Brandon Penrose (2) Wambach (2), Jay Barkstrom (1), Procious (1), Alexander (1), Ronin VanDamme (1) and Masaschi (1) collected assists for the Panthers as well.
IROQUOIS CENTRAL (VI) 4

In a back-and-forth battle, Iroquois Central capitalized 14 seconds into overtime to steal the win from Geneseo/Livonia/Avon. Trailing 1-0, Michael Walton scored twice in the second period to give the Lakers the lead. In the third, Irondequoit took a 3-2 lead on a shorthanded tally and Shane Melead retied the game a minute later. Lucas Stewart turned away 21-of-25 shots in the loss. Christian Rumfola finished with two assists while Ryan Haugh and Walton each collected one for the Lakers.

After tying with Brockport a week ago, Brighton/HFL/ER’s Jude Cole scored twice in the third period to down the Blue Devils and avoid another 2-2 tie. The senior scored his 20th and 21st goals of the year on touches from Paul Runge, Matt Yager and Cameron Lombard. The Barons’ initial lead came from the stick of CJ Buchta who also used dishes from Lombard and Runge. Brockport claimed a 2-1 advantage in the second period on goals from Tucker Trask and Jonathan LoMonaco. Tucker Johnson made 23 saves on 26 shots for Brockport while Jackson Heider turned away 24 on 26 attempts for the Barons.
BATAVIA-NOTRE DAME (9-7-1) 4

Batavia-Notre Dame jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first, but watched its lead trickle away as Frontier scored six unanswered on 12 total shots. Jedidiah Reese registered two goals and an assist four minutes apart to help boost the Fighting Irish early in the match. Samuel Chmielowiec and Ronin Hofmaster accounted for the other two Notre Dame Batavia goals. Before the end of the first, Frontier’s Nick Dinaldson and Declan Weman cut the lead in half. Once on the power-play and once on the penalty-kill Ryan Zablobski tied the game with two goals in the second period. Broderick Kamuda and Weman completed the comeback with two more tallies in the final period of regulation. Frontier went 3-for-6 on the power-play. Earning the win was Jeff Pienta who stopped all 18 shots thrown at him after taking Mason Suter’s spot 10 minutes into the first. For the Fighting Irish, Alexander Totten, Landin Pizzi, Maxwell Hutchins, Gino Falleti, Wyatt Krolczyk and Hofmaster all added an assist.

Six different players found twine and Ethan Breton made 28 saves to lead Churchville-Chili to its fourth straight victory. Keegan Metcalfe, Jon Bunk and Luke Molnar each capitalized in the first to give the Saints a 3-0 lead. In the third, Mitchell Marsh scored twice while Cade Costanzo and Ryan Jong added one apiece to settle the score at 7-1. Breton’s 28-save performance earned him his 11th win of the year. Molnar bolstered the offense with three additional assists to his single goal and Adam Polito followed with two helpers of his own. Dylan Clark, Nick Bowen and Costanzo all contributed an assist for the Saints as well. Dylan Delucia scored the lone Panther goal in the second period on an unassisted effort.
RUSH-HENRIETTA/SOTA (3-13-1) 3

Gavin Schrader netted four goals, including three in the second period, to lead the Genesee Ice Devils to their first win in five games. After Sean Pies’ lone goal in the first, Schrader completed the hat trick to extend Genesee’s lead to 4-0. Two of his goals came unassisted while the other was helped by Vincent DiRisio. The two connected again in the third to dampen Rush-Henrietta’s three-goal rally. Jordan Coleman scored his team leading 24th and 25th goals of the year while Nick Cowie added his 20th in the final period of regulation. Cooper Hamilton and Zack Eschberger added an assist apiece while Ian Kemp made 30 saves on 33 shots for his sixth win of the year. The Royal Comets converted on 2-of-9 power-play opportunities. Rush-Henrietta’s goalie, Keegan Waldo, was tested with 54 shots and turned away 49 of them. Mikey Valent (2), Cowie (2), Zach Villone (1) and Coleman (1) collected assists for the Royal Comets as well.

Coming off a two-goal game the night before, Michael Walton registered a hat trick and four assists to propel Geneseo/Livonia/Avon to victory. The Lakers netted three goals in each period and went 3-for-4 on the power-play. In the first, Walton opened scoring with two consecutive tallies, including one short-handed. He completed the hat trick with the Lakers’ sixth goal of the night and his 12th of the year. Ryan Martucio, Christian Rumfola and AJ Agosto combined for six goals, with two apiece. Agosto netted both of his on the power-play while Martucio capitalized on the man-advantage once. Lucas Stewart made 15 stops on 18 for the Lakers. Rumfola (3), Jon Edmunds (2), Martucio (2), Derrick Wigley (1), Ethan McGowen (1), Logan Dale (1), Brady Bishop (1) and Ryan Haugh (1) all added assists in the win as well.
