ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Three undefeated teams remain in Section V boys’ soccer. Two will meet at Caledonia-Mumford High School Tuesday evening for the right to play in the New York State Class C Far West Regional. Class C1 champion East Rochester takes on C2 champ Keshequa for a berth in the Elite Eight. Here’s the breakdown:
Class C1 champions EAST ROCHESTER BOMBERS (19-0-0/Wayne County) vs. Class C2 champions KESHEQUA INDIANS (19-0-0/LCAA Division II)
How they got here: East Rochester (No. 1 NYSSWA Class C) beat No. 8 Gananda, 9-1 in the quarterfinals before knocking off Sodus (2-0) in the semi-finals and Williamson (4-0) in the finals.
Keshequa downed No. 8 Caledonia-Mumford, 5-1 in the quarterfinals then beat Perry (3-0) and Marion (1-0) to reach Tuesday night’s qualifier.
Total goals scored: East Rochester (100), Keshequa (73)
Total goals allowed: East Rochester (8), Keshequa (10)
Trends: East Rochester (No. 1 NYSSWA) has allowed one goal in its past five games. Keshequa (No. 7 NYSSWA) has won seven one-goal decisions this season including a pair of contests that went to overtime. They also scored in the 67th minute or later in their last three games won by the slimmest of margins.

Keshequa — Aidan Wood (18 goals, three assists), Riley Rease (12 goals, eight assists), Reese Powers (five goals, 18 assists), Brendan White (53 saves in 686 minutes in goal, 0.466 goals against average), Jacob Cobin (25 saves in 605 minutes in goal, 0.793 goals against average).

History 101: East Rochester won its fourth title in program history and first since sharing the 2010 CC crown. Keshequa’s title was its second having taken the 2014 C2 title.
What’s at stake: A spot in the NYS Class C Far West Regional against Section VI champion Maple Grove (17-2-0).
A 6 PM kickoff is scheduled at Caledonia-Mumford High School.
*Bath-Haverling (Class B/19-0-0) is the third Section V team that remains undefeated.
