The pitching trio of Christian Blatter (McQuaid), Paul Sofinski (Webster Thomas) and Andrew Treviso (Fairport) combined for a two-hit, 11-strikeout effort to lead DI Red to its fourth straight win. Sofinski started the game and retired six of the seven batters he faced in two frames of work. Blatter fanned five of the six hitters he faced in a pair of scoreless innings.

Treviso hurled the final three frames to complete the shutout. The senior right-hander allowed one hit and struck out four batters on 57 pitches. He retired seven of the first eight batters he faced as well.

Shane Harisis (Eastridge) paced the offense with a pair of singles, two runs scored and an RBI. Jack Von Ahnen (Webster Schroeder) connected for a hit, drove in two runs and crossed the plate once. Tristan Murray, Sofinski and DJ Stoianovich all collected a base knock in two plate appearances apiece. Murray scored a run. Jack Scanlon (Aquinas) drew a pair of walks and crossed the plate once.
For DI Green, Max Stuver (McQuaid) hurled five innings of three-run ball on 77 pitches. The right-hander allowed five hits, two walks and fanned nine batters. Stuver struck out four of the first five hitters he faced as well.

Armani Palma allowed one hit in two innings of relief. Devin Cannon (Spencerport) and Dan Tirabassi (Rush-Henrietta) both connected for a base knock in two at-bats apiece.

Joseph Alphonse (Greece Olympia) knocked in the go-ahead run as part of a two-run seventh for DI Gold in their first win since Opening Day. Korey Canton (Greece Odyssey) started the rally by reaching on a two-out error. Alphonse took an 0-2 pitch up the middle to give DI Gold the lead.

Ethan Hurwitz (Pittsford Sutherland) drove in Alphonse with a double for insurance. Kaden Helmer (Victor) worked two innings of relief to pick up the win. For the game, Alphonse went 1-for-4 with a pair of RBI and a run scored. Jake Dockum (Harley-Allendale-Columbia) and Ryan Merkov (Webster Schroeder) both connected for two hits and drove in a run.

For DI Grey, Tanner Frank (Brighton) tripled in Sal Cutaia (Webster Schroeder) and Justin Getty (Hilton) as part of a four-run second. Frank scored on Zachary Allen’s single to cut the deficit to 7-4.
