Justin Graham (St. John Fisher College) tripled down the left field line and scored the go-ahead run on an error. The senior earned the victory with a pair of scoreless innings to lead the Wings to their third straight win. For the game, Graham was 4-for-5 with three singles.

Jacob Heredia (Monroe Community College) and Jim Marasco (Nichols College) both connected on a pair of base knocks. Heredia chopped a two-run single up the middle to bring in Ben Martin (St. John Fisher College) and Stephen Edgett (St. John Fisher College) for a 4-0 lead in the opening frame. Heredia drew a walk as well.

Ben Beauchamp (University at Albany), Edgett, Ryan Hill (Monroe Community College) and Martin all collected a hit and scored a run apiece. Beauchamp drew a walk and drove in two runs. Edgett and Martin both had an RBI apiece. For the Lake Monsters, Tyler Coy tied the game with a bases-clearing triple in the sixth inning. Michael Jamele (Merrimack College) and Logan Martella-Tasick (Monroe Community College) both collected a base knock and an RBI in four plate appearances. Erik Gauer (Gordon College) and Evan Newkirk (Castleton University) both connected for a hit and scored a run.

Andrew Wallman (Hilbert College) singled through the right side and drew a walk. Matt Petrossi settled down to hurl five innings on 92 pitches.

MONARCHS 3
Josh Van Bramer (Alfred State College) allowed one hit and struck out 10 batters in five innings of work for the Flyin’ Fish. The freshman southpaw fanned seven of the last eight hitters he faced and hurled 104 pitches. This is the second straight game in which a Flyin’ Fish starting left-hander compiled double-digit strikeouts.

Santino Rosso (Hofstra University) went 3-for-4 at the plate and drove in Ray Specht (Niagara County Community College) with a single to right center in the third. Justin LoTemple (Alfred State College), Jorge Oropeza (Alfred State College) and Andrew Zibuck all collected a pair of hits apiece. Zibuck scored a pair of runs and LoTemple one.

Sean Sheets (Keuka College) and Specht both connected for a base knock in four at-bats. Specht singled to left center and brought in Zibuck as part of a three-run third inning. For the Monarchs, Dylan Broderick went 2-for-4 with a pair of RBI. Thomas Amuso (Rochester Institute of Technology) and Tyler Cyrus (John Carroll University) both collected a hit and scored a run. Cyrus drew a pair of walks.
