Michael Jamele (Merrimack College) collected a pair of infield singles in three at-bats from the leadoff spot. Evan Newkirk (Castleton University) connected for a hit, drew a walk and scored on a groundout from AJ Nestler (Finger Lakes Community College) in the second. Dylan Hillabush (SUNY Brockport) hurled a complete game on 98 pitches. The sophomore left-hander allowed four hits, one walk and struck out six batters. After giving up back-to-back baserunners in the opening frame, Hillabush retired 15 of the next 17 hitters he faced.

For the Flyin’ Fish, Cody Cooper (Slippery Rock University) beat out an infield single to third, scoring Ray Specht (Niagara County Community College) in the sixth.
