
LETCHWORTH, N.Y. — Travon Harper and Jaden Hartsfield scored 15 points apiece to lead the Greece Odyssey Leopards past the Wellsville Lions, 63-55 in the New York State Class B regional qualifier, Wednesday night.
The pair combined for nine points in the second quarter when Odyssey outscored Wellsville, 19-10 to break open a tie game. Harper connected twice from the floor during the stanza, and Hartsfield converted 5-of-8 from the free throw line.
Ray Colbert added 13 for the Leopards who will be making their second straight regional appearance.
Harper converted on 6-of-6 free throw attempts, part of an overall effort which saw Odyssey hit on 18 of 24 free throw attempts.
Aric Williams scored nine points while Romell Griffin added seven, and Dylan Kolmetz had four for Odyssey (21-3).

Max Jusianiec scored 26 to lead Wellsville. The junior guard had seven in the fourth quarter when the Lions outscored Odyssey, 17-12. Aiden Cook added 11 points. Colin Cook had eight. Alec Acampora had seven, and Joe Tronetti three to round out the scoring for Wellsville (18-6). The Lions had won seven straight heading into the game.
Odyssey and Wellsville met twice during the season with the Leopards taking both contests by scores of 63-51 and 73-59.
Odyssey will play Section VI champion Olean (23-0/No. 1 NYSSWA Class B) in Saturday’s NYS Far West Regional. A 12:45 PM tip off is scheduled at Greece Athena High School. Odyssey fell to Buffalo Health Sciences, 52-46 in last year’s regional.
