Lyons is looking to win back-to-back Class C2 titles. No. 5 Perry stands in the way, Monday while No. 2 Alexander and No. 3 Red Jacket will battle for a spot in the finals. Here’s the breakdown:

No. 1 LYONS (19-2/Wayne County) vs. No. 5 PERRY (13-9/Livingston County Division III) Tuesday, Feb. 26, 6:30 PM at Pittsford Sutherland High School

Scoring offense: Lyons (89.00 PPG), Perry (56.33 PPG)

Scoring defense: Lyons (55.85 PPG), Perry (57.22 PPG)

Current streak: Lyons has won its last three; Perry has won five of its last six.

How they got here: After a first-round bye, Lyons defeated No. 8 Rochester Academy 96-73 in quarterfinals.

Perry holds two playoff wins so far, defeating No. 12 Letchworth 55-40 in Round 1 and No. 4 Bloomfield 62-48 in quarterfinals.

Last time they met: Justice Smith turned in a dominant performance netting 21 of his game-high 33 points in the second half as Lyons Lions shrugged off an early deficit and claimed the Section V Class C2 title with a 58-53 victory over the Perry Yellowjackets. READ MORE.

Scoring defense: Alexander (54.94 PPG), Red Jacket (50.40 PPG)

Current streak: Alexander has won six straight; Red Jacket has won four straight.

How they got here: Alexander defeated No. 7 Geneseo 62-55 in quarterfinals after a first-round bye.

Red Jacket held off No. 6 Pembroke to take a four-point (49-45) victory in quarterfinals.
