Miles Brown scored 24 of his 38 points in the first half as Northstar Christian downed Corning-Painted Post (IV), 87-62. Brown added seven steals and seven rebounds to his effort.
Twin brother, Michael Brown contributed 13 points and seven assists. Freshman Ryan Garwood connected three times behind the arc and chipped in 16 points.
Miles Brown, the reigning NYS Class C Player of the Year, ran his career total to 2,242 points. Neil Weidman (Dansville) holds the Section V career mark with 2,441 points.
Northstar Christian, a NYS Class C finalist a year ago and semifinalist in 2017, moved up to Class A2 for this season.
The Knights play Global Concepts (VI) on December 4th before traveling to Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio to play Orchard Park (VI) on December 14th.
