Senior midfielder Josh Haff snapped a scoreless tie 12 minutes into the second half, and Odyssey improved to 7-1-0 (4-0-0 Monroe County Division IV) on the season. Kyle Pezzulo made seven saves for his fifth shutout of the season. The senior goalkeeper made a spectacular save in the first half on a point blank blast off the foot Guy Kadge. The two schools are separated by less than a mile along Maiden Lane.

Curtis Rowe connected on a golden goal in the first overtime, and Rush-Henrietta (4-3-1) remained undefeated in its last three games. Cory Meintel assisted on the game winner. Meintel also tallied earlier in the game. Hunter Kassel and Zack Koops added a marker apiece for the Royal Comets. Rowe, Josh Catanese and Jason Pike collected an assist apiece.

Thad Grierson made 11 saves for the clean sheet. The victory was the second straight for Perry over a state-ranked opponent having beat Geneseo on Thursday.

Danny Kelly tallied twice for Geneseo, No. 17 Class C NYSSWA. Alex Kruger added a goal for Geneseo. Giovanni-Ciboria Timm and Josh Matthews both had an assist. The shutout was the fifth this season for Geneseo.
