Nate Chase and Jared Wren garner ICBL weekly honors

PLAYER OF THE WEEK (6/16-6/22) – Rochester Division

Chase connected on a three-run home run to cap a week which saw the Lake Monsters infielder hit .500 including two home runs and three extra-base hits. In 10 at bats, Chase drove in four runs and scored another five. He collected four walks for an on-base percentage of .667 and an OPS of 1.867 to top the ICBL over the seven-day period.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK (6/16-6/22) – Rochester Division
Jared Wren, Monarchs/St. John Fisher College

In two appearances during the week, Wren allowed one earned run over 6 1/3 innings of work. The right-hander struck out six, surrendered two hits and went 1-0. Opposing batters hit .087 against him and he posted an ERA of 1.11.
