Michael Donofrio (Brockport College) allowed one run on three hits over five innings of work to pick up the win. Donofrio struck out four, walked two and faced four batters over the minimum. Hector Vargas (Erie CC) and Jared Wren (St. John Fisher College) hurled a scoreless inning apiece in relief.

Wren fanned two in a three-up, three-down frame. Michael Jamele (Merrimack) tripled, had two hits and scored twice to pace the offense. Mike Sabatine (University of Maine) tripled and added a run. Brandon Henshaw (St. Bonaventure) and Steven Kemp (Medaille) had two hits and drove in a run apiece. Henshaw scored a run. Cole Penders (Brockport) walked, knocked a hit and scored twice. Mike Maganti (St. Bonaventure) collected a hit, walk, an RBI and scored twice. Logan Delutis led the Indians with two hits and a run scored. Rocco Leone drove in Rome’s lone run.

Nick Antonello allowed two runs on five hits over six innings for the win. Antonello struck out seven, walked one and threw 79 pitches (61 for strikes). Rocco Leone finished 2-for-3 with a walk and scored two runs to avenge a loss in the first game of the doubleheader. Nick Brown had an RBI and scored three runs. Timmy Shinto went 2-for-4 with two RBI. Andrew O’Connor worked a scoreless inning of relief. Hector Vargas (Erie CC) went 2-for-3 and drove in the lone Monarchs run. Mike Magnanti (St. Bonaventure) walked and scored.

Jayson Faynor (Genesee CC) took a no hitter into the sixth inning and contributed at the plate to lead the Fish. Faynor struck out one, walked two and needed just 82 pitches (49 for strikes) to get through six innings. The right-hander allowed just three balls out of the infield through the first five innings and retired 12 batters overall on ground balls. His RBI double push the Fish advantage to 5-0.

Jeff Wilson (LeMoyne College) doubled and scored in a three-run first to give the Fish a lead the did not surrender. Wilson walked and scored another run. John Faynor (Genesee CC) went 1-for-2 with two walks and a run scored. Jason Schulz (RIT) singled and scored. Matt Carroll (SUNY Fredonia) doubled in a run.

David Verrett connected on a two-out walk-off single to cap a come-from-behind victory for the Snow Dogs. Seth Reusman worked a one-out base on balls and eventually scored the game winner. James Cronin hurled three shutout innings in relief for the win. The right-hander struck out one, walked two and allowed three hits. Jeff Wilson (LeMoyne College) finished 3-for-3 including a two-run single in the third to give the Flyin’ Fish their first lead of the game.

Kole Brink (SUNY Fredonia) and Ryan Hill (Monroe CC) knocked back-to-back RBI doubles in the fourth for a 4-2 advantage, but the Fish could not hold the lead. Zachary Williamson had two hits including a leadoff double to start the sixth. Michael Krick went 2-for-3 and had an RBI two-bagger in the sixth when the Dogs knotted the game. Wyatte Meyer was 3-for-4 for the Dogs. Jayson Faynor (Genesee CC) had two hits in three at bats and scored once. Hill collected two hits and a walk. Matt Petrossi (Monroe CC) started and tossed four innings for the Fish. The right-hander struck out two, walked one and allowed two unearned runs on four hits.
