The right-hander worked a 1-2-3 eighth and retired the first batter of the ninth before Mike Jamele (Merrimack) tripled to spark a ninth-inning rally. Brandon Henshaw (St. Bonaventure) drove in a run with a sacrifice fly, and Cole Penders (Brockport College) made it a one-run game with a two-run double. The Monarchs had the go-ahead run on base when Sanborn ended the game with a strike out. Jamele finished 3-for-4 on the night with two runs scored. Henshaw collected four RBI including a two-run inside-the-park home run in the seventh to tie the game.
