Tournament MVP Logan Holgado tossed a complete game for Wayne, limiting the Blue Devils to two runs on five hits and three walks, while striking out four. Holgado threw 64 of his 105 pitches for strikes. READ MORE.

The Screaming Eagles got it started with leadoff batter Jordan Maher drawing a walk to open the game. He eventually scored, along with Devin Hicks when Connor Young doubled. And when Mike Deckert followed with his double to drive in Young, it was a 3-0 game before Newark had even been in its own on-deck circle. READ MORE.

Tournament MVP Maxx Countryman hurled a 2-hitter to lead Avon to its third straight sectional title. The senior right-hander struck out 11, walked one and faced three over the limit. Ian Read finished 2-for-2 with a walk and a pair of RBI for the Braves. Peyton Parmeter had a hit and scored two runs. Parmeter reached on a two-out error in the first and eventually scored the winning run when Read worked a bases-loaded walk. Avon sent nine to the plate and put the game out of reach with a four-run sixth inning. Aaron Ghent, Nate Wojslaw, Ryan Younger and Jesse Countryman all scored in the inning.
Class C2

The first time though the order, Red Jacket struggled against Geneseo starter Jason Valentine, who kept the Indians off-balance with a nice popping fastball and breaking pitches at just the right time. READ MORE.

Bolivar-Richburg ace Parker Cole was nothing short of lights out on the mound, striking out 15 Honeoye batters in a no-hitter that sent B-R to a 5-0 win over the Bulldogs in Saturday’s Section V Class D1 championshp game in Hornell. READ MORE.
