Will Porter finished the day 2-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored for the Eagles. Chris Butler fanned five and hurled a complete game 2-hitter. Jayden Fayad collected both of Eastridge’s hits.

Pat Sherron struck out four and allowed five hits for the complete game victory. The sophomore is 4-1 on the season. Frank McCabe, AJ Nestler, Raymond Specht and Sherro collected two hits apiece for the Royal Comets (9-6/4-4). David Stirpe was 2-for-4 with a double for Hilton.

Kyle Blum scattered three hits and struck out 13 in the complete-game shutout. Drew Southcott went 3-for-5 at the plate. Justin Augustine, Ben Bell and Isaac Yorkey collected two hits apiece in the win.

Joey Puglia hurled a complete-game 1-hitter and took a perfect game into the seventh inning. Puglia struck out 12 in the win. Ethan Putney drove in five with two hits for the Saints. Jake Carroll had three hits. Franklin’s Frankie Santiago broke up the perfect game with a triple in the seventh inning.

Hunter Mazur tossed a complete game 1-hitter in the opening round of Batavia Rotary Tournament. Griffin DellaPenna finished 2-for-3 with two RBI and two runs scored. Jordyn Schmidt was 1-for-2. Jake Humes drove in two runs with a hit. Taiyo Iburi-Bethel had a hit and scored a run.

Jake Humes allowed four runs (zero earned) on three hits over six innings, and added a hit from the plate as Batavia claimed the 2018 Batavia Rotary Tournament. Andrew Francis collected a hit, a walk and a run. Sam Sallome finished 2-for-3 including a triple and scored three runs. Griffin DellaPenna doubled, drove in two runs and had three hits in four at bats. Jordyn Schmidt went 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored. Alec Wagner tripled and drove in a run a run. Taiyo Iburi-Bethel singled and scored a run.

Tournament MVP Michael Sculli finished 3-for-3 with two doubles and a triple as well as scoring the winning run, and Canandaigua claimed the championship of the inaugural Maine Event. Cooper Crunick had the game-winning RBI and picked up the win in relief. Dylan Mackenzie drove in a run. Jesus Baez and Thomas Delforte scored a run apiece for the Braves. The win was the eighth straight for Canandaigua (13-3). Andrew Tygart went 2-for-2, and Gavin Lucky had a double for LeRoy. The named was named after longtime volunteer coach Dave Maine.

Kevin Sheppard and Hunter Walsh combined on a 2-hitter, and McQuaid made a third-inning run stand. Sheppard struck out four, walked one and allowed one hit over six innings for the win. Walsh fanned one in a scoreless seventh for the save. Jarrett Odorisi singled and scored on Ben Beauchamp’s two-out base hit for the game’s only run. Noah Campanelli, Tyler Griggs and Tommy Manno had a hit apiece for McQuaid.
