PITTSFORD-MENDON 8
Hudson Bockmier drove in six runs – including a third inning grand slam – to lead Pittsford Mendon (12-5, 7-3) to an 8-5 road victory over Brockport in a battle of Monroe County Division III leaders. With the win, Mendon is now tied with Brockport with identical 7-3 divisional records.
Bockmier, who finished the day 3-for-4, also delivered a 2-out RBI single in the first and added a double in the seventh. He also earned the win, scattering 9 hits and striking out 4 in 6.1 innings. Brockport’s (10-7, 7-3) answered Bockmier in its half of the third, as Samuel Velletri’s double, Gordon Fisher’s groundout, and Ashton Scott’s two-run scoring double cut the lead to 6-4. Jake Ring delivered a run scoring single in the Mendon fourth to push the lead to 7-4. Each team scored a run in the seventh to close the scoring.
For Mendon, Jared Petrichick and Jacob Wilson each had two hits, while Velletri finished the day 3-for-4 for Brockport. Quinlan Ignaszak took the loss. With the Mendon grabbed a share of the Monroe County Division III title with Brockport and Canandaigua.

Victor’s Tommy Ryan belted a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh and Victor reliever Owen Delforte pitched 5 scoreless innings to lead the Blue Devils to a come-from-behind, 6-5 win on the road over Rush Henrietta.
The Comets (7-6, 3-4), who came into the game on a three-game winning streak including a victory over the Blue Devils on Monday, scored 5 runs in the bottom of the first inning to take a 5-2 lead. AJ Nestler drove in Lukas Haefner, Nate Sanderson delivered a 2-run single and scored on an error and Pat Sherron scored on Frank McCabe’s fielder’s choice. Rush Henrietta was poised for more when Delforte was handed the ball with two runners on in the third inning. Delforte snuffed out that threat and proceeded to allow only one hit while striking out 3 over the last 4 innings to earn his fourth win of the year.
Victor chipped away as Santino Russo led off the third with a solo home run and added a score off a wild pitch in the fifth.
Ryan finished his day going 2-for-4 with 4 RBI and AJ Nestler was 2-for-4 with 1 RBI and Daniel Triabassi was 2 for 3. Victor improves to (12-5, 7-3). Rush Henrietta’s Daniel Tirabassi was 2-for-3 and Nestler 2-for-4 with the RBI.

Greece Olympia reliever Zach Wright induced a grounder back to the mound with East Irondequoit runners on second and third to end the game and preserve a 3-2 victory. Lancer (7-7, 2-4) pitcher Brady Booher cruised through the first 5 innings, hurling a shutout while only allowing two hits. But in the bottom of the sixth, Greece Olympia (3-6, 2-3) scored 3 with two outs in the inning: Pinch runner Derek Lemlein scored on a single by Colin Avery who was plated after another single by Jake HeBerger to tie the game 2-2. Andy LaBar then scored on a error to break the tie.
East Irondequoit scored twice in the second on singles by Jacob Russo, Booher (an RBI) and a ground out RBI by Shane Harisis. Booher took the loss despite pitching 5.2 innings and giving up just 4 hits and striking out four. Outside of the second inning, Avery pitched six strong innings, allowing just 6 hits while striking out 7.

CANANDAIGUA 16
Canandaigua (11-3, 7-3) pounded out 14 hits and logged big-scoring innings to run away with a 16-2 victory over Brighton on the road.
The Braves scored four runs in the first, 5 in the fourth, 6 in the fifth and 1 in the sixth against 6 Brighton pitchers. Brighton (4-7, 1-7) scored twice in the first on RBI singles by Trent Wasserman and Sam O’Hora.
Canandaigua was led by Jordie Johnstone who reached safely on 5 trips to the plate (single, double, triple and 2 walks). Dylan Mackenzie, Cooper Crunick, Connor Fisher, Michael Sculli, and John Disalvo each had two hits in the game. Joe Brinza and Crunick each had 2 RBI. With the win and a Brockport loss, Canandaigua grabbed a share of the Monroe County Division III title with the Blue Devils and Pittsford-Mendon.

GATES-CHILI 0
Collin Nelson and David Stirpe combined to toss a one-hitter as the Hilton Cadets (7-8, 4-5) shut out Gates Chili 4-0. Gates Chili’s Alec Cerasuolo was stellar on the mound, giving up just 4 hits in a complete game, but the Spartans’ bats never got to the Cadet pitching duo. Hilton’s Alexander Noto finished the game 2-for-3 with 2 RBI, while Stirpe went 1-for-2 with another RBI. GC’s (1-11, 0-7) Alexander Scalone broke up the no-hitter with a single off Nelson in the fourth inning. Nelson pitched five innings, allowing the one hit while striking out 8. Gates Chili managed just five base runners during the game.

GREECE ATHENA 6
Greece Athena pitcher Casey Saucke retired all three batters in the bottom of the seventh to seal a closely fought victory over Pittsford Sutherland (8-8, 5-5). Saucke, who came in in relief in the bottom of the sixth with a runner on second and one out, but fired a strikeout and induced a ground out to end the threat.
Athena (8-7, 2-6) drew first blood by scoring three times to open the game as Saucke scored on an error, Tyler Curtis scored on a sacrifice fly by Jayson Russell and Jorge Oropeza singled in James Sciortino. Sutherland got one of the runs back on a run-scoring sacrifice fly by Keeghan Cummings in the second, but Athena notched two more in the top of the third on an RBI single by Oropeza and a run scoring groundout by Brandon Smith to push the lead to 5-1. Sutherland cut the lead to 5-3, scoring on an error and an RBI double by John Messina.
In the sixth, Athena got the insurance run they were looking for as Saucke’s sacrifice fly scored Thomas Putman. Sutherland plated two in the bottom of the sixth on 2-RBI single by Graham Schild. Offensively, Athena was led by Oropeza (2-for-4, 2 RBI) and Putnam (2-for-3, including a double. Sciortino earned the win and Saucke the save. Sutherland’s Schild, Will Ling and Connor Fitzsimmons each went 2-for-4, and Messina took the loss.

Hunter Mazur hurled a one-hitter over 6 innings to stymie Greece Odyssey (3-8, 1-5) and pace Batavia to as convincing 12-0 win. It was the second win in three days for Batavia over Odyssey.
Batavia (7-4, 6-0) maintained their one-game lead over Honeoye Falls Lima in Monroe County Division IV. The Blue Devils were led by Taiyo Iburi-Bethel (3-for-3 with a double and 2 runs scored), Jordyn Schmidt (1-for-2, 2 RBI), Alec Wagner (a triple, 4 RBI), and Naz Pratt (2-for-3, 2 RBI and 3 runs scored). Mazur helped out how own cause with 1 hit and 3 RBI.
CHURCHVILLE-CHILI 4
SPENCERPORT 10
Spencerport’s Jason Nau pitched 6 innings scattering 6 hits and allowing four runs and Gino Pellett retired the Churchville Chili side in order in the seventh – after blasting a grand slam to left in the third – to push the Rangers (4-14, 3-7) to a 10-4 victory over the Saints (3-11, 2-8).
Spencerport got things rolling in the top of the first as G Ranieri’s ground out R Richards’ single each drove in runs. Churchville Chili answered in the bottom of the first with one run to cut the lead in half at 2-1. It stayed that way until Pellett’s heroic grand slam, and Nau provided more insurance with a 2-run scoring double in the fourth to push the lead to 8-1. CC countered with two more in the fifth, but in the sixth Nau stole home and Joe Moschettieri delivered an RBI single. For the Rangers, Pellett finished 3-for-4 and 4 RBI, Joe Carroll 3-for-5, 1 double, Raymond Richards 3-for-4, 1 RBI, Nau 2-for-4, 1 double, and Moschettieri 2-for-4, 1 RBI. In all, Spencerport pounded out 13 hits.

Trailing 5-4 going into the bottom of the sixth inning, Caden Murray scored the tying run on a key bunt by Lucas DeVito. Dylan Blanchard followed with the eventual game-winning RBI double scoring Lucas DeVito. Ben Cowles struck out the side in the seventh for the save. Blanchard led the Newark going 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI. Murray was 2-for-2. DeVito came on in relief of starting pitcher Julius Teabout and hurled 1 2/3 for the win. Teabout pitched 4 and 1/3 innings and allowed nine hits , struck out five, walked a batter and hit another.
Brennan Prather was 3-for-4 with a double for Penn Yan. Peyton Schuck finished 2-for-4 with an RBI. Derrick Rivello struck out 13 over six innings for Penn Yan.
Newark moved into sole possession of second place in the Finger Lakes East with an 8-3 record in league play and 12-5 record overall . Penn Yan is now 7-4 in league play and 9-6 overall.

Ezra Maslyn finished 3-for-5 with a triple and fiveRBI to pace the Midlakes offense. Connor Young had two hits and four RBI. Mike Deckert went 2-for-5 with a double and two RBI. Harrison had two hits including a double. Decker struck out six over five innings for the win. Waterloo’s Jake Webb had a triple and a home run in three at bats.

Sean Flannery finished 2-for-4 with a triple, two RBI and two runs scored. Logan Holgado went 3-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored as Wayne put numbers on the scoreboard in each of the first six innings. Tanner Clark allowed two runs on seven hits over six innings to pick up the win. Clark fanned six and walked three. At the plate, Clark walked twice, had a hit and scored two runs. Tommy Bolt had three walks and scored one run. Geneva’s Matt Pierce finished 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored.

Tim McClare finished 2-for-2 with a walk and three runs scored as Gananda put crooked numbers on the scoreboard in each of the first three innings. Zach Ciprich had a hit and two RBI. Jayden Castrechini drove in a run and scored twice with a hit and a walk. Austin Jacobs fanned five and allowed two hits over four shutout innings for the win.

Will Rhinehart had a hit an two RBI to lead Mynderse. Jeremy Howe walked three times and twice. Keegan Baker drove in a run and scored twice with a hit. Pal-Mac’s Alex Wootton had two hits including a double with an RBI and run scored. Liam Doyle tripled, drove in a run and scored another.

Alex Minnehan struck out 11 and allowed seven hits over 6 1/3 for the win. Kyle Feldman had two hits to lead Livonia.
