Jahmel Demery posted a double-double in the loss for Vertus, grabbing a game-high 12 rebounds and scoring 14. Eric LeBrane shot a perfect 6-6 from the charity stripe, accounting for six of his 11 points. Aquinas led in the game for 25 minutes, 12 seconds. Logan Moynihan paced Newark with 15 points. Jayden Peters added 10. The title is Wayne’s first since joining Finger Lakes in 2000.
